IOS 6 keeps going to an apple log-in screen every time I try to access my home wifi.

After updating to ios 6 every time I try to access my wifi network my Iphone 4s goes to 3G and goes to an apple log-in screen that says "the page cannot be found". I have tried forgeting the network and re-entering the password and rebooting the phone but both didn't work. Any Ideas would be appriceated.

**** HERE IS THE FIX!!! ****

After I upgraded my iPhone4S to IOS 6 I noticed when I wanted to use my home Wifi it kept going to an apple log-in screen every time.

Turns out that the Safari cookie for the Apple website may be corrupted after the IOS 6 update. It uses this Apple website test to see if you are able to successfully reach the internet and if not, then it assumes you are on some public Wifi EULA approval page - Unfortunately this feature broke on some devices after IOS 6.

Here's how to fix it. Go to:

/Settings/Safari/Advanced/Website_Data/

Scroll down until you find apple.com or www.apple.com and swipe left until the red "Delete" button shows up.

Press Delete and then you can exit out of that and your Wifi should now work. Report back after you have fixed your device!

Cheers!

I actually went into my airport settings and enabled timed access with unlimited time access... seemed to fix the issue (iPhone 4S)

EDIT: I went in and removed the timed access and still is working... I did notice that a switch to automatically join network has now been removed... seems apple may have quietly updated something over the air.

Just adding myself to this list. EXACT SAME ISSUE.

I upgraded my iPad2 first. It is still okay and functioning fine on WiFi. Since iPad was a success, I upgraded my iPhone 4S. It was good for about 2 hours, then it kept dropping off WiFi. It keeps bringing up a browser page to login at the Apple site, only I get the same error message as the rest of you, "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found".

I reset the Network settings, rebooted the iPhone, logged into the home network, re-entered the key.

It's fine for now. Let's see how long.

Okay I think I solved my own problem. I went to Settings-General-Reset all content and Settings. I had to hook up to my Imac and activate the phone using Itunes then do a backup restore from icloud. Now my purchaced apps are downloading from the store and it looks like it works. I will update again when I have a chance to reboot the phone after all the apps have downloaded

I've found somewhat of a workaround, though it does not do a lot of good if you need to use your phone as a phone and not just a small iPad. If you put the phone in airplane mode, you can then enable wifi, and it will connect. At least it's a more pleasant alternative than downloading app updates over your data plan!.

Update, it appears to hold the wifi connection after returning to regular mode.

IOS 6 keeps going to an apple log-in screen every time I try to access my home wifi.
