IOS 6 keeps going to an apple log-in screen every time I try to access my home wifi.

After updating to ios 6 every time I try to access my wifi network my Iphone 4s goes to 3G and goes to an apple log-in screen that says "the page cannot be found". I have tried forgeting the network and re-entering the password and rebooting the phone but both didn't work. Any Ideas would be appriceated.

  • Turn off Wi-Fi via settings. Then turn it back on.
  • Turn "Ask to join networks" on.
  • Join a network
  • Turn "Ask to join networks" off again.

This solution worked for me. Thanks matooba!

( Turns out that this was a problem on Apple's end and the solution was coincidentally timed. A dummy page of theirs went down at 7:00 EST that the iPhone connects to everytime you join a WiFi network. It's back up as of 7:40. )
