IOS 6 keeps going to an apple log-in screen every time I try to access my home wifi.

Apple fixed the issue. They use a captive portal page when you connect to wifi to determine if you are in somewhere like a Starbucks or McDonalds. The page went down and therefor the device assumed you were not on the Internet and dropped out. The page was showing "not available" once fixed it shows simply "success"

Had the same problem, reset network settings, told it to forget the network and put in the password again, reset the entire phone (pushing the home and power button), nothing. Then while sitting here looking at all the messages about this problem it started to work, the wi-fi worked. I kind of think it was a waitng game, it just took the iPhone a while to sort things out.

I will test this idea when I get home with the other two iPhone 4s and the two iPads, and iPod Touch. Will let you know how it turns out.

Go to HTTP Proxy in your network's settings and change it to Auto. All fixed.

Go To:

Settings>Wi-Fi>("Your Network")> [the blue circle arrow icon]

Scroll to bottom of screen and set HTTP Proxy to "Auto"

Hi. I was having the same problem. Turn of cellular data. And restrict to wifi only. It will then connect to wifi.when you see the log into apple page. Press the home button and open safari. Google anything. Close safari. Then go back to cellular data and switch back on. This worked for me. Havent had a problem since doing that. My trouble started when i was in airplane mode and then turned it off.

If you renew your wifi lease the issue will go away

Same here. I did the iOS install through the phone at work. Worked fine. Got home, synced with iTunes. Trouble only after I shut down completely and restarted. iPhone 4S. Been messing with it for an hour.

Wow, weird. Possible solution... I went into settings-->general-->vpn. Didn't even toggle the setting - and exited. It suddenly connected to my WiFi. Don't know if it was a coincidence or what.

I had the same problem. Then I plugged my phone into the charger and tried it and it works now.

Seems like all iPhones running iOS 6 had the same problem at the same time... so it's obviously something that's not related to your devices.

Lol thats it huh? I hate apple sometimes haha. Always something simply stupid.

Wifi at work didn't have any problems after updating to IOS 6. When I went to leave I walked outside of the range of my works wifi so the iphone reverted to 4G. When I got home it just wouldn't connect to my wifi at home. Resetting network didn't work. Restarting my phone seemed to fix the problem for now.
