I just updated a few minutes ago and I'm having the same problem, I can actually see my battery % going down as I type! Its going down 1% every minute or so!
UPDATE: The % has been going down at a slower pace over the past few minutes, and I also noticed the total time is now increasing, it went from 3 hours up to 5.5 hours, Im hoping It will go up from here. Maybe it just needs some time to calibrate the battery?

I'm almost agree with you and support you in this question.
Apple haven't solved the problem with buttery life in for MBP in Mountain Lion yet...
P.S. And there is a strange thing. In Google Search there are no news about not solved problem )) Apple asked google don't show any? ))) There is only "10.8.2. has been solved the problem..." BLA-BLA-BLA. Bad job.

It's not happening on all MBPs. Some seem to suffer, most don't. When they can fix it, they will. Luckily all my MBPs are showing great battery life. I suppose patience is a virtue.

Well, I had high hopes that 10.8.3 would fix the battery issue with my MacBook Air but it's just as bad as ever. 2 hours maximum clock time with just wireless and browsing. No Time Machine, bluetooth or anything else running.... I guess I'll see about selling it and starting over with a mac book I can test drive for a day.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll stay on lion even though the ******** got my money for ML.
Today I updated ML to 10.8.3 and there is no result for my battery.
What was the result your battery expected? Did you ask it?
After previous update from Lion to Mountain Lion battery life lost about 2.5 hours. Upgrading to 10.8.3. didn't give any positive results. I expect restore to 5.5 hours )
I had seriously degraded battery life under 10.8.2, losing about 1% per minute. After several SMC resets did nothing, I restored my machine but experience no improvement.
Under 10.8.3, things are much better. I now get about 4 hours of battery life, which I see as reasonable for a 3 year old machine. I don't feel like battery life is as good as it was under 10.8.1, but it's certainly improved over 10.8.2.
That's great! But I'm looking for the 6 -8 hours they advertised for my MacBook Air! I get that with 10.7.5 but not with 10.8.x
My MbA 2011 went from 4.5hrs to 1.5hr down. So I downgraded to 10.7.5 Lion.

Can't confirm.
After giving it a full day of testing, there hasnt been any difference in battery life with the most recent update of OSX. If any I've seen a minimal improvement. This is becoming a serious inconvenience. Looks like we are waiting for 10.9 for a resolution...if there will ever be one. I'm very disappointed that Apple has not addressed this. Good luck to everyone in your endeavors.
Only seems to affect a small amount of users. Four of my five Macs are MacBook Pros and none have suffered any battery degradation since updating to Lion then Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard. Wonder if its machine specific?

After upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion , the battery time droped down from 10 hours to 4-5 hours max. This is definately 100% a bug of Mountain Lion. And this i tell you for sure, as a PC user from 1983 and now as a Mac user from 2010. I would sugest Apple to do something and in the next release 10.8.4 this bug has to be fixed. Don't search for solutions, only apple can fix this problem.
Except from this , Apple US has to support the Greek language more , for example the voices Alexandros- Melina when they anounce of the hour, it is very terrible, Apple US should work closer with Greek comanies who supports our Languange.

But why are only a few suffering from this battery drain? I have 4 MBPs all getting great battery life. Did all the way through Lion and now through every release of Mountain Lion. So wouldn't everybody be suffering if it was '100% a bug'?

Mountain lion 10.8.2 battery life is worse !
