Brightness Setting

I think i might have found a solution to it. Try experimenting by going in a dim room or a dark room(better), set auto brightness ON and adjust the brightness bar to the MINIMUM. Next, switch on the lights in the room and you will see the brightness bar gradually increases by itself, means it's going to the right side.

This is to show whether the auto brightness is working or not. If it is moving, yes, it's working. If not, you know what to do.

Yeah, I saw youtube videos of how it's supposed to move on its own like that...and theirin lies the problem. Whatever I set it to is where it stays. The funny thing is I commented to a friend not too long ago how well the auto brightness worked on Apple products...

Yes, the brightness and the slider will slowly go up when going from a darkened room into the light. Problem is that the reverse does not happen. Once the slider rises, it never returns to where I set it...

But it doesnt slide back down when i switched off the lights. It goes down really slow though.

auto brightness is working on my 4s with ios6 but doesn't work with the new ipad. was trying different technics to switch it on but there is still only auto brightness up, never goes down in dark places
