I downloaded the new iOS 6 onto my iPhone 4S. I am trying to use passport but I can not select anything on the app after it opens other the go to apple store and when that opens it says it can't connect to the store. Does anyone know how to start adding things to passport?

oh someone else posted this as well might be worth a try
Change your Date & Time settings from Automatic to OFF and then change the date a good month ahead. Open the app store from Passbook. Should load perfectly. Once you get in, change the date and time back to auto.

Thank you. It did get the App Store to open but there are only a few things to choose from and it wants to download an app. For example how do I put my delta information in passport? I have the app, but from the commercials It shows those type of things and things like my Starbucks card can be stored in passport. How can this information be entered? Thanks
Hello...I tried this but it did not work for me. It still says it cannot connect to iTunes store. Any other thoughts?
OK, instead of advancing the calendar one month, I did as was suggested but went one year ahead and it worked fine. There are not many apps in passbook at this point, but would imagine that will change in the weeks ahead. Thanks!

I still don't get it - the app store opens - I click on say United - all that happens in that the United App starts - it doesn't say anything about adding to passport or anything like that - same with Fandango - useless as far as I see
Well now many iOS 6 compatible with PassBook are available now so using it now may be not that smooth.

I tried this date change and all it did was open iTunes and a few new applications (Find Friend, Pdcast, iTunes U) but never gave me any option to add any Passport data. Then when I tried to get back in again it failed just like it did the first time. I tried the "Change Date" trick but still it fails to open iTunes from Passbook. I tried rebooting the phone 'Change data" trick but still no progress. Seems like this app is a major failure for Apple at initial release but I imagine they will get enough bad PR that they will be gettign an update out soon.
How does passport on iOS 6 work.
