iOS 6 breaks MMS

I am on a 16GB iPhone 4 on AT&T. After upgrading to iOS 6 today MMS functions are completely broken. I cannot send a picture or video message to anyone. It just gives me the red exclamation point and says "Not delivered". I have already reset my network settings. I have removed any custom APN settings, I've even tried a hard reset (holding down Home and Power simultaneiously till the phone shuts down and restarts). Nothing has worked and I am still without MMS.

Any help on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated. I can't be the only one who has this problem. Anyone?

I have tried all solutions listed to fix the MMS issue but none of them worked. I also came across another issue concerning photos. I can't tweet pictures from Photos or from the Twitter application. I have went to privacy settings and allowed Twitter to access my pictures but that doesn't seem to change anything. Nor can I send pictures in Messages for Facebook or Facebook for iPhone. The only thing that works is iMessage.

My boyfriend's phone is doing the samething. His iMessage shows activated, but he can't send a regular text message or iMessage, it's been like this for days now. It is a real incovenience, as he uses his phone for work, all day everyday! My phone on the other hand has had NO problems and we share the same plan, so I know it's not our service provider.

We just tried reseting the network and turned iMessage off, facetime off, and the wifi off as the video that Jeff_G shared. Didn't work at all. He can't turn iMessage off and just use regular text message either. He can't even send pictures. When he types a message and hits send it shows it sending then the message he typed just disappears. But we have turned his iMessage off multiple times for days now, it doesn't work..

Kashalp's comment proved to fix the problem, as per below. I wanted to mark the comment as "fixed my problem", but couldnt find any way of doing it. so i had replied to his comment but it added it to the end of the threat. seems all a bit silly

I had same problem but i found a fix. Settings > Messages > turn iMessage off then back on.

i know it doesnt make any sense but it worked for me. Now able to send MMS to all my friends even if its not over iMessage.

I am so frustrated right now. I have the same exact problem and nothing that anyone says to do above works. I have a 16GB iphone 4 with AT&T and unlimited messaging package. I can't send nor receive pictures through regular text messages. I'm sorry, but not everyone I contact has an iphone (although I used to try to persuade them...after this latest ios update I won't be doing that anymore).

I have tried resetting the network settings, turning off and on imessaging. Rebooted. Everything combination imaginable and nothing fixes it. There is a serious flaw with MMS/SMS in ios 6 and Apple needs to fix the code!!!

To clarify, I can send and receive normal texts...I just cannot send or receive pictures with normal MMS texting (imessaging seems to work). For those of you who say it's fixed, did you actually trying sending and receiving pictures via normal texting???

i know this is a stupid question, but in Settings > Messages >down near bottom is MMS Messaging turned to ON as well as in the middle "Send as SMS" turned to ON?

If so, the only thing I can think of to do is to do a complete restore over iTunes and Restore from backup to get all your goodies back on the unit (Make sure its been backed up).

If Restore doesnt work, then I would call Apple for a replacement.

Good Luck

In Settings > Messages:

I have Send as SMS turned on. I have MMS Messaging turned on. I have Group Messaging turned on.

I tried turning off imessaging to send a picture via MMS and that didn't work. I was able to send and receive pictures via MMS before I upgraded to ios 6. I will try a complete restore over iTunes but I don't hold out hope. It sounds like a lot of people are having this problem.
