Why iOS 6 crashes on my iPhone 4s? i cant listen music for more than 30 seconds and every app crashes over a few minutes of use.

Guys does this have to do with the white iphones? My ipad2 is just working fine after the upgrade. In fact I am thinking of changing it to black since it is still under warranty.....I have upgraded both devices from the device update.

I have exactly the same problem! I have restored as a new iphone and after a few hours every single app was crashing again. I couldn't even listen to music for more than a minute!

I guess it has something to do with the way the iphone was upgraded. My sisters and friends have all upgraded directly from the iphone and I was the only doing it with itunes and now im also the only one who has this problem. I'm gonna try to restore my phone again but now im gonna force itunes to download another firmware so it won't use the one that has been having the problem. I hope apple already realized that ios6 is not working for every iphone :/

I don't think it has to do anything with the way you've upgraded your devices. My girlfriend and myself used the same way to update to ios6. Her's is working just fine, but mine is constantly crashing. Even my friend used the same method to update, and is working fine. The issue most probably is because the mobile is white!!!

Mmmmmm that's bad......i hope that this issue gets solved as soon as possible! Why is this happening?! Since my iphone is still under warranty, do you think i should give it a go and try to change it, or Apple will issue an update to fix these issues soon? How was the situation whe iOS5 was released? Has there been any issues? How long did it take Apple to issue an update?

guys, check under settings/about/diagnostics&usage/diagnostics&usage data if your phone is sending the "lowmemory" crash log every minute or two to apple diagnostics center. if it isn't, turn it on, so they will get more of these logs and see that more and more people are having the same issue, and then maybe they are able to release an update more quickly.

Similar problem with various crashes for different apps. I moved icons to different pages on my iPhone 4S and when I hit the home button, it rebooted and did not save my changes. Obiously, this upgrade was a mistake!

Did you find a solution? Mine also is completely dead and will not even turn on.

the problem is not related to the color of the iphone.
Same problem ios that does not accept the old backup of our iphones.
I made experinecia and restored as new iphone and had a day like that, and everything was impeccable.
The problem must be the app that are not prepared for ios 6

My 4S had the same problem. Once I charged it fully overnight last night, it no longer crashed! Hope this helps someone.

I have fully recharged my 4s a couple of times since yesterday... no luck!

It also seems that the battery is draining faster than usual...

In my case, the iPhone 4, I download the iOS 6 via iTune but I could not finish the update process. The updating stall at 30%.

Then I try download using Safari directly and use the iTune to Restore. I could finish the updating.

I guess that iTune itself cause the download file error.

i have the same issues with ios6. after updating my ip4s, apps kept crashing. even settings and messaging, including the app store and safari. almost everything is glitched suddenly. i tried hard resetting my phone, didn't work. deleted all contents and restored from itunes back up, didn't help either. and yes i have the same diagnostic and usage data record of low memory status (i still have 3.4 gb of free space tho). i don't get it, is it using up RAM? i've never had problems with the last version even if i had multiple apps running. has anyone tried restoring to 5.1.1 then re-updating to ios6? please let me know if it works. this *****!

I have found that it is making restoration from iTunes after upgrading to iOS6. The solution is to restore the factory default iPhone.

Then recover applications and contacts via iCloud.

I have iPhone4 black colour. I upgraded to iOS 6, worked fine for 5hrs and after that it crashed so badly that even on reboot (pressing home and power button together), its not responding. The phone is dead, and I have all my important stuff there. I tried connecting to iTUNES but since the phone is dead, computer is not recognising the device and same with iTUNES. After reading the posts I charged my iPhone for 5hrs but still its not responding. All I see is just blank black dead screen(same when iphone is switched off).

Anyone pls help :-((((

APPLE DO SOMETHING, CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT MY IPHONE AND THE IMPORTANT DATA. ALL OFFICE WORK WILL BE LOST.
