Why iOS 6 crashes on my iPhone 4s? i cant listen music for more than 30 seconds and every app crashes over a few minutes of use.

I already downloadead and install iOS 6, the first couple of ours worked fine, but then, abour 4 hours later the sistem became unestable. Crashes, hangups and a lot of memory consumption became. The sistem processes takes about 70% of processor iddle and about 90% of sistem memory ram, a shame because that lets me no choice for oppening new apps and could explain the constant crashes.

I saw the stats from Battery Doctor. Im worried and i beg for a fast solution you Apple guys.

*This problem is called a "reboot loop".You can fix it by putting your iOS in Restore Mode.

Visit this link on how to do this:HowToGoInRecoveryMode

*Just press and hold both Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for 10 seconds, and when the screen goes black, relese the Sleep/Wake button and hold the home button for 10 seconds,or untill a message pops up.You can do this anytime, even when the divice is in a reboot loop.

PROBLEM SOLVED,ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT MUCH OF A SOLUTION

*iOS 6 and higher was made to function well with the new devices, which have been tested and made for the amount of preformance that iOS 6 gives.

*The older devices, which include the iPhone 4S,after having older firmware, can't take the pressure of a new one imediatly, which takes up space and uses RAM memory untill it replaces the old iOS.Even after that, devices become slow.

*A old solution is to close apps from multitasking, reboot device, and leave the battery to drain. After that, make a full battery charge(the idea is to close out anything that slows device down).

*Another solution is to to the same thing, but Restore the device to its original settings. It will also install the latest version of iOS 6,and eliminate all traces of the previous one.Make sure to back up your apps and sync them over with iTunes to iOS device after you're done.

After my update on io6, my 4s started to crash on every single apps including text message, photos, settings, and Facebook. I have backed up my phone 4 times, reset, and everything I was told to do but it seems that it continues to crash after 30secs or less of use. My FaceTime crashed in the middle of a long distance video chat that ****** me off. It crashed 10times in one minute trying to view a simple inbox message on Facebook. I can't watch videos in YouTube without crash, and most of all i can't even view my serial number on settings if I can't finish reading out the numbers because of a 5sec crash. What the heck is wrong here? My battery is also being drained out in couple of hours even with location settings and system settings off! :-(. Hope someone from apple can fix this!

had the same issue and it was some corrupt items in my "calendars" that were in my Microsoft Exchange server so our IT Dept finally figured it out. See their message below.

After much troubleshooting and trial and error I narrowed the issue down to the calendar. When email only sync was added to the phone it downloads and the sync stops after it completes. When I added G's calendar to the sync the sync never stops and eventually the screen blacks out and returns to the home screen as G witnesses on his phone. I tried to remove the calendar sync but even though it is turned off it doesn't remove. I had to delete the account from the phone and re-add it again but unchecked the Calendar at setup. This prevented the calendar from being added and synced. When the account is added this way, the black screen did not occur. I researched more and found a utility named calcheck which checks the calendar items for corruption. It creates a folder in Outlook named Calcheck and moves the corrupt items to it. I ran this(log below) there were 12 items found with issues. I then could sync everything with no black screens occurring on the Iphone and the constant syncing did not occurr.

Hard knocks on the iPhone are highly unlikely to result in hardware issues — everything inside the iPhone is held together securely by many screws. There's a chance that the application may have crashed due to a software issue (and no, you can't damage software physically), you might want to try rebooting your phone. If that doesn't work, you might have to restore your phone.

How often does the app crash? Is it possible for you to disclose the app's name? Is the iPhone badly damaged? Providing additional information can help us in identifying the cause of the problem.

Hi

If it keeps turning off or just randomly restarts try this, the problem happened to me at well went to apple they just gave me a new iphone after changing the iphone 7 times that's all they could do they r not experienced at the genius bar, the problem was still there and then I checked the crash log and found out that my Apple ID was carrying the bug so what u can do is restore the iphone and don't log in with the corrupt Apple ID since then I have had no problems

Hope this helps
