iPad 3 says Wi-Fi password is wrong iOS 6

I've tried typing in my password over and over but it still says its wrong. I've tried resetting my network settings, resetting location settings, hard resetting the iPad, turning Wi-Fi on and off, changing the HTTP to Auto but nothing works. It still says my network password is wrong (even though when I updated my iPhone 4 it didn't even disconnect from my Wi-Fi whereas the iPad 3 did

I have the Wi-Fi only model.

Bump.

I'm glad this worked for you, but this solution didn't do anything for me, as the network I'm trying to connect to doesn't broadcast its SSID and I have connected to it under iOS5 countless time using the same method, but it fails every time now.

I've tried every solution suggested by this thread short of resetting my device (Reset network setting, reset device, turn wifi on/off, etc... Since I can't connect, renewing lease or changing DNS setting isn't even an option), but seeing as how I've visited a local apple dealer and confirmed that their brand new iPad Mini (Less than a week old) had the same exact problem, I'm almost certain it will not fix my problem.

The most annoying this about this is that for me, it was having problems switching between networks after iOS 6 update, but I was always able to get a connection eventually. But as of two weeks ago, it broke completely and 6.0.1 did nothing to solve this issue. I can only connect to open networks now.

Anyone with a different solution - please help me out.

I'm using the "abandoned-by-Apple" iPad 3 running iOS 6.0.1

I've been having issues with iPad 3 since updating to iOS 6.0.1. Got give my iPad at the weekend as an early birthday/christmas present as I'm going away this weekend, got it out the box and set up fine, updated to latest iOS and it worked fine on the Saturday. Sunday onwards has been a different matter, connection to the internet has been intermittent at best. Have tried all the various suggestions, reset (hard and soft), internet settings what not, checked my router (Belkin, less than 12 months old, running the latest firmware and settings meet apple's recommendations) and it's still very hit and miss (more miss than anything). The iPad is conected to the network, it just can't seem to be able to get the internet through the network (which is working fine, no issues on either my laptop or my sisters non-updated iPhone 4).

My mum has also just updated her iPad 3 and that's been the same, although hers has been marginally better than mine.

I've just moved house and I have a new broadband supplier and brand new router (DLINK). I can connect my Iphone and a laptop but I have the same password problem with my Ipad 3. I too have tried everything, brightness settings, reset network settings, reset & updated router etc etc, nothing works. My Ipad works fine when I connect to a wifi hotspot but I can't sit in McDonalds all day!

My Ipad is now rendered useless and I am at my wits end, it is quite a big deal as I use it for everything. I'm out of options Apple, over to you!!
