ios 6 won't download apps

Tried that and it does not work although was working ealier suddenly stopped

My apps are stuck on install. New apps I purchased from my phone won't install either. I plugged into my computer and it goes through the synce and says everything is installing, but when I check the phone it says installing and the blue bar is about halfway. After a few minutes the blue bar disappears. I added an app to my nieces phone with no trouble at all a few minutes ago, but mine are still stuck in install ****.

This worked for me. Go to each individual app outside of the app store and touch it. The app will begin to load and install.

Mine starts then states is unable to connect to internet although I am connected via wi fi and other apps access this ok so waiting to see if its a problem with Apple or Nat West App😮

I tried to add a free app and it asks me for my password. I enter it, and it acts like it's starting. Than it goes back to the "Free" button just like nothing happened. The app doesn't download at all.

How do you download apps one at a time in iTunes? All I see is a sync function, which deletes all the apps except the one you want to download.

Same problem. In access to iTunes Store after updating to iOS 6 on iPhone 4 and iPad 3. iPad 3 works fine but not iPhone.

Okay, I just came across this and just got past it by doing the following:

I went into Settings App > iTunes & App Stores > tap where it says your Apple ID > tap "Sign Out" > Sign back in, and verify the account info.

Nope. Doesn't work.

Tried the log out of iTunes trick. No go.

Hard to say if this is a serious bug for some users or just the Apple server system being borked.

The local Genius had no clue and 3 calls with support had no clue. All had me do the basic trouble shooting. At the moment, Apple does NOT seem to consider this a real issue. From the number of posts and 'me too's' here, it sure could be an issue.

Lets hope something positive happens soon.

@seamuskrat, apple gave me a solution to this problem...

1. delete all the apps that are stuck downloading

2. turn on airplane mode for 30seconds, then turn off
3. go to iTunes, redownload each app one at a time.

That does NOT work. I tried all of that and still can only access my apps by going into App Store on my iPhone4. The apps will not download onto my phone even when I try to synch with iTunes (which shows all the apps I have purchased).

Obviously, this is a MAJOR BUG Apple needs to fix immediately!
