ios 6 won't download apps

Not working for me either. Have no problem with my iPod Touch (4). When I try to sync my iPhone it gets to step 3 of the sync where it says determining the apps to sync and then just stops. Have tried numerous things to make it work. For now I have to download updates and install apps using the store on the phone rather than my normal sync with my mac. I also hope they get this fixed or maybe its just a ploy to make all us iPhone 4 people switch to a 4S or 5?

I called Apple Support and the guy I spoke with told me to turn my phone completely off and let it sit for about 30 seconds. I did that, turned it back on and my apps that were stuck in "loading" were there & ready for use. I hope this helps some of you

Like Shotsk7, I deleted all my apps (by syncing only one of them to the iPhone and then deleting that one), and then I dragged each app from my iTunes Library to my iPhone one at a time. It worked fine, but of course took some time to move about 80 apps.

Even though some people in this thread have reply that my suggestion worked, I posted it to this thread mistakenly. I was posting fix that worked for me to a problem involving App Store payment method verification and a session timed out message. If I could delete my reply I would.

Anyhow, as to the stuck apps problem, I don't know. Closest I've seen to that was two apps that would not update despite reboots and killing App Store on my phone. Was holding up all installs/updates. Solved that by tapping one of the stuck apps icons outside of App Store, on the Home Screen. It immediately began downloading and installing. Similar to resuming a paused app install on previous versions.

Same thing here with a 3GS. 6 Apps stuck on a half bar "Installing".

Nothings working I'm so angry! grrrrrr apple

Same thing here with an iPhone 4, none of the solutions work. Apps are donwloaded but refuse to install. No problem with my Ipad 2.

That doesn't work for apps already purchased, downloaded, and updated on the iPhone4 prior to updating to iOS6. It's definitely a problem with the new op system and Apple needs to fix. I hope an Apple rep is reading this support forum.

OK everyone, I just got off the phone with Apple Tech Support. The tech confirmed that they have several problems with iOS6 regarding apps and other issues. He said engineers are working on the bugs round the clock and hope to have a fix soon. He said if I don't have the problem resolved by tomorrow, I should call back and ask about a time frame for when the fixes will be completed. Sounds like they let this update out too soon before they had all the kinks worked out. Hopefully, they'll have it resolved soon!

i was able to fix mine by deleting pending downloads in itunes. i must have started soem music downloads from icloud but paused them when i skipped a track or something. after deleting those pending downloads, my apps kicked right in and started downloading.

With my iPhone 3GS connected to iTunes on my Mac, Restore worked for me (for now anyways). I was able to restore the software/firmware to the phone as well as all of my apps etc that were backed up.

After the restore was complete I was able to update and add new apps from the phone's App Store.

Same thing for me. Don't feel left out 4 users...I have an iPhone 4S and I can't download/update anything from the App Store either, it's quite irritating. It actually worked 2 hours ago when I was getting old apps, but now it won't do anything, really really hope this gets fixed.

Having same problem after installing ios6. Nothing fixes it. Hope the Apple support team fixes this soon. Can't access Facebook because it is waiting for update. When I uninstalled it it said I would loose all my data. Sure hope this is not the case. Is apple listening to all of us? Do I have to complain by phone.!!!

This works for me, too! I had some music downloads in iTunes which stucked there (why ever), just deleted them and then the appdownloads works fine...
