Anyone still having IOS 6 wifi issues?

I'm currently waiting on Apple support to call me back about this issue, but I thought I would reach out here to see if anyone else is having similar issues.

I upgraded to IOS 6 yesterday afternoon, and immediately after I could no longer connect to the Wifi at my place of employment. Everyone had this issue, no big deal.

Went home, Wifi worked fine.

Came into work this morning and I am still unable to connect. I have tried all of the various recommended fixes, and even gone so far as to do a complete restore. I work at a university with multiple networks and access points and have tried connecting to several, both secure and unsecure, with no luck.

This is what happens:

Unsecure Networks: Attempt to connect, wheel spins, Error Message: "Unable to Connect"

Secure Network: Attempt to connect, prompted for password, enter password, Error Message: "Incorrect Password" (Yes I entered the correct password, I tried multiple times, and the IT tech was able to connect to it with his iPad 2 running IOS 5)

I am also not the only one, everyone on campus who has upgraded their iPad 3 to IOS 6 is unable to connect. (All staff/factulty have iPads, most have upgraded)

I have spoken with the IT department and they are baffled, they have tried rebooting various routers and access points to no avail.

Obviously there is something different happening in IOS 6 that is causing these issues. My question is has anyone else encoutered this issue, and if so what have you done to fix it?

I have seen people above who have upgraded firmware on their personal wireless routers with success, but for a university with literally hundress of access points and routers this is out of the question, at least in the short term.

I have two WiFi problems as of iOS 6.0:

1. At home my WiFi works most of the time, but since upgrading my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 I've seen the following problem on both of them one time each. While they never lost connection to my wireless router, they started dropping WiFi packets. I noticed that pages would time out in Safari so I used the "Ping Analyzer" app to ping my router and noticed that every 20 seconds or so, the device would start dropping packets for about 10 seconds. This persisted until I restarted the device. This happened one time each on my iPhone 4S and iPad 2, but not at the same time. Now any time I get page timeouts I'm warry this is happening.

2. At my work, which uses a captive page, both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s will connect, but then drop the WiFi. Well technically it doesn't drop since the SSID is still listed in the settings page. Neither device will use the network until the captive page pops up. To get that to happen, I have to either open Safari, Wireless setting or some other Apple app like Mail or Weather. Opening 3rd party apps doesn't work.

Mine still isn't working and I've tried all the suggestions above.

The other problem is, even if changing settings in my home router works, what about all the other routers out there. I was in a restaurant yesterday my girlfriends 4s could pick up 4 different wifi hotspots mine didn't even pick up one.

If this is a software problem or a hardware problem apple need to sort out quick, not just get everyone to downgrade or upgrade their own routers. It's unacceptable really, unacceptable yhat they haven't even admitted there is a problem. I try came out and said there will a software update in week or something at least most people wouldn't spend hours looking for a temporary fix.

Great if you have access to the router - mine is a shared network in a hotel-apartment building.

Hav had no wifi since friday and becomming thoroughly pxxxd off with Apple.

Resolving the code whereby the previously working login popup screen is not 'killed' by the apple.com failed connection cannot be that difficult.

this issue must be affecting anyone who has a login screen to go through (hotels, airports, school/college, corporate etc).

C'mon apple - give your customers some assistance please.

Same problem here. I have a 64gb 4s. Tried everything I found online. FInally gave APL-CARE a call and they couldn't resolve it either. I gotta say, not impressed with APL_CARE at all. I talked to 3 people and they all seemed to know less than most people on this board (or me for that matter); they shoud at the very least read what people are saying on-line. They may get some insight.

End result, they set up an appointment with a Genius tomorrow to get my phone replaced. Total waste, I wish they just gave me a credit towards the iPhone 5 since I'm gonna end up trading it anyway in a couple of months.

Apple, this is crazy, your wireless device is having all kinds of problems with the wireless connections. Major problems with wifi. Go to Starbucks and try it, you can't access the wifi network until u reboot your iPhone.

Go to any airport in Canada and try to use the wifi, you can't until you reboot. I was in Edmonton today and I have my blackberry phone and my new shinny iPhone 5. My blackberry has signal with 5 bars strength and my iPhone has no service. I have to reboot my iPhone 5 to get my signal. I stayed idel for 30 minutes and didn't touch my iPhone 5, then tried to check my email, I find that I have no service.. Reboot again, after the reboot I have the 5 bars again.

What a poor device??!!!! I have to reboot many time to get either the wifi signal or the LTE signal. Not impressed with this device and I am thinking to return it back. Very expensive phone with very poor quality.. I am thinking to replace it with Samsung Galaxy S3, we know it works..

I am missing Steve Jobs' old days....
