Anyone still having IOS 6 wifi issues?

I'm currently waiting on Apple support to call me back about this issue, but I thought I would reach out here to see if anyone else is having similar issues.

I upgraded to IOS 6 yesterday afternoon, and immediately after I could no longer connect to the Wifi at my place of employment. Everyone had this issue, no big deal.

Went home, Wifi worked fine.

Came into work this morning and I am still unable to connect. I have tried all of the various recommended fixes, and even gone so far as to do a complete restore. I work at a university with multiple networks and access points and have tried connecting to several, both secure and unsecure, with no luck.

This is what happens:

Unsecure Networks: Attempt to connect, wheel spins, Error Message: "Unable to Connect"

Secure Network: Attempt to connect, prompted for password, enter password, Error Message: "Incorrect Password" (Yes I entered the correct password, I tried multiple times, and the IT tech was able to connect to it with his iPad 2 running IOS 5)

I am also not the only one, everyone on campus who has upgraded their iPad 3 to IOS 6 is unable to connect. (All staff/factulty have iPads, most have upgraded)

I have spoken with the IT department and they are baffled, they have tried rebooting various routers and access points to no avail.

Obviously there is something different happening in IOS 6 that is causing these issues. My question is has anyone else encoutered this issue, and if so what have you done to fix it?

I have seen people above who have upgraded firmware on their personal wireless routers with success, but for a university with literally hundress of access points and routers this is out of the question, at least in the short term.

Yo Everybody

I managed to fix this issue few minutes ago. There a few steps to maintain it.

1. Settings>>Safari>>"Clear History" also "Clear Cookies and Data"

2. Turn Your Cellular Data Off

Settings>>General>>Cellular>>Cellular Data (OFF)

>>Enable 3G (OFF)

3. To Maintain your Wifi

Settings>>Wi-Fi>>(Your Network Name)>>HTTP Proxy(Auto) + Leave URL empty

I hope that might help you folks!

ps. if you haven't managed to find your network, after step one you might wanna restart your network settings

iPhone 4,

I am having the same problem only at home. I have tried everything I have read and even reset the modem to try to fix it. It will work for 2-3 minutes then shut off. Apple is on the edge of losing one customer to Samsung, I let go of blackberry after 5-6 years with them! Why do all the good company's suddenly just go bad? Steve Would never have let this happen.

Wifi has not worked on my 4s since ios 6 was installed. I've tried everything posted here and what I've found on the internet. Unbelievable! I have four other devices (2 pc's, a 3G and a Kindle) and all have wifi working. When talking with apple support the other day they hinted it could be my router. Doubt its the router. Must be ios 6 since all worked before the install.

Why do we have to do all the resetting, clear out all the conveniences, restore etc? Last night my iPad was fine and since “updating” I cannot use my home WiFi but can connect just fine at the grocery store. Obviously the home WiFi was fine last night when the new software was downloaded.

Am I naïve?

Will Apple not put out a bug fixing update in short order?

Same thing here. iPhone 4S on version 5.1.1 - works just fine. Dell laptop x 2 - both work just fine. Blackberry Curve - guess what, just fine.

Ipad yesterday on 5.1.1 - perfect.

Ipad today on 6.0 - wifi for two minutes, then gone. The signal bars show its connected, but there is no internet, no email and no downloads.

Lost all the arwork from my 20GB of music.

Lost my 3 movie rentals.

I really liked apple, but can not understand for a moment why they released this utter garbage. The absolute very least they could do now, is withdraw it and allow people to downgrade back to 5.1.1. whilst they do what they should have in the first place - test it and fix it.
