App Store Keeps Crashing iOS 6 iPod4

same hereeee! 😢

Honestly I'm scared to reset it, I did once and it didnt want to turn back on, it finally did once the battery almost drained...

Having a problem with the App store app on my daughters Ipod touch since downloading ios 6 today. She can open the app but its just a blank screen. It does show she has a couple of app updates and we were able to bring them up and get the updates but nothing else. Sounds like we arent the only one with a problem though. Please tell me they will fix this problem. I have tried to shut it down completely a couple of times and resyncing it with the computer and still nothing. HELP! I have a very unhappy daughter! LOL

This is ridiculous, I just updated my 4th gen ipod touch and it immediately crashed my ipod and is now telling me to connect to itunes, thanks. Don't release **** if it doesn't work right!

Mine always crashes on search result 24 no matter what i search for. even after i reset.

my ipod touch is doing the same thing! everytime i search, open genius, open purchases it crashes

+ passbook dosnt work and because youtubes gone it took me ages to download!!!!!

Not only the App Store is crashing safari and other apps too. :-(

The iOS6 update was for. 5 th gen. Ipod touches. The reason fourth gen ipods crash is because the update isnt compatible with that model. Read the update info. Before updating.

Ive been having the same problem since I updated to iOS6 got a 4th Gen 64GB Ipod Touch every time I try to do a search in the App store it will crash hope u guys fix this problem quickly!

I fixed it, just put the date up by 1 year and wait a few seconds. After that put the date back to normal. Hope this works for you guys.😀

The 1 year date change does not work, I've tried. However, here's some hard data for all the computer science people who know what they're doing:

When I try to open the Purchased section, it will display the "Loading" message for exactly 15 seconds, then the message goes away and exactly 10 seconds later, the app crashes.

Maybe this will mean something to somebody who knows how native iOS coding for the App Store works.

Hello. As mentions before, I face a similar, serious problem with my two iPhones (a "4" and a "4S").

Already posted a relevant discussion (no response by anybody, which seems strange). I tried the trick with the date but did not work for me. Apart for the issue I have already reported (impossible to access my "purchased" in the"update" tab, I am also experiencing a VERY slow response from the AppStore. For what it's worth, the issue is frustrating, at least. Hope that Apple Services have at least registered the issue (probably among many others) and will eventually tackle the problem. Till then, the feeling is disappointing. Regards / George
