iPod Touch 4G app store crashes after iOS 6 update

Mine wasn't the App Store either. It was the new Passbook thing that downloaded with the new system software. When I moved it out of a folder, the App Store stopped crashing.

I have the same issue and it's really annoying. I'm not able to download any app because it's crashing all the time. Please, get this fixed the soonest possible

Hey I tried the sleep thing and held it didn't work I thought they fixe by Wednesday and if not send a email to all affected y didn't they? And can someone call and complain. I don't have there number?well ok then check back with you later. Btw if you don't want to call the tell me there number and I will call and inform you guys.

I have 3 ipod 4g's and a iphone 4.Two of the 4g's are on ios6 and both app stores crash. Foldering the app store worked on one and not the other. This is ********! Jobs would have never allowed garbage like this to be released. How many users are lacking an app store causing financial loss to developers and Apple (via store sales) Yet Apple is greedily smiling because they have released a new device that makes all the rest of us screwed. Thanks Apple! I'm seriously considering selling all these POS's for Androids.

Fix your garbage Apple or give us the ability to go back to something that works!

I had the exact same problem with my iPod Touch 4G after I upgraded to iOS 6. All I had to do to fix the problem was to power off (hold down sleep/wake button) and turn it back on again. The App Store worked perfectly after I did this. I would try this before getting mad at Apple. lol

When doing that do you stop holding and slide the power button that it brings up or so you keep holding?

Btw I got to say they lied to us is y I'm mad they said there'd fix it by Wednesday or if not send an email out

same here. very unlike latest ios6. cause its make for iphone5 or 4S its faster cause they using New A chip .

and i tired to try downgrade many many times its wont works at all.

EVERYthing is crashig on my ipod touch 4g, before and after ios 6. I have less than 60 apps and this even happens with apple apps!!HELP!!!!

I agree with you. Try rebooting your device. I might work for you but it didn`t for me.

I already tried that of course, it didnt work.
