iPhone 5 Apple.com Orders Showing Oct. 5th Delivery

Hey guys, I ordered my phone on the 14th at 5:30am EST (2:30am PST) so I was 2 and a half hours late. I ordered from Apple.com (which I am regretting now). Anyways, I was curious if anyone ordered around the same time as me and if they were able to get any tracking updates. I tried the "Track By Reference" option while inputting my phone number and nothing is showing up. The only thing that shows is Apple.com saying delivery on Oct. 5th (boo!).

i ordered on the 15th and still nothing. has been processing since day 1. it starting to get on my nerves now that im seeing people who ordered days after me are getting phones

Swag, the pre-order system this time was a littled messed up. I think Apple expected a lot fewer pre-orders and a lot more in-store buys. I have read that the Apple stores are stocked. If yours is still processing, you might be able to cancel and go to a local store.

I'm in Los Angeles, and my iPhone 5 white 32gb is just waiting in Louisville. Anyone else seeing something similar? It was supposed to get delivered yesterday end of day then only when it became today did the site change to today end of day. Now it's looking unlikely that it'll get delivered end of day today. Only thing I'm hoping for is that I refresh the page later and suddenely get updates with delivered, haha.

simon, possibly a case of a missed scan. Have you tried looking for recent flights from Louisville to LA?

i just checked and i just saw that it says under my order delivery Oct. 10-16 so i guess i have another week in a half to maby two. This is my first time ordering thru apple, after i ordered i got an email telling me its being processed. Is that normal or should i have got a confirmation email too? or do i get that when its gonna start shipping? When i ordered thru at&t they would always send me a confirmation first

I have a feeling my Monday delivery could be in jeopardy.

pre-prdering sucked....

I'm thinking of going to buy a couple new ones at full retail in apple store - then will sell the two that arrive UPS (and probably make money) on ebay.

When the pre-prder system backed up... Apple should have adjusted and given pre-orders option to pickup in store.

Did anyone notice that you can do a pick-up order on apple.com (after 10:00pm EDT each night) and if available pickup in the morning at a store. So people that ordered last night could pickup today.

Whey weren't our pre-orders (optionally) converted to store pickup ?

Should have been easy to do BEFORE the phones left china.

I'm on the same shipment.

So far I know of 3 people who preordered the identical phone after me through the apple site and have ALL received their phones. I am pretty mad. I called apple and they gave me some 50 dollar little speaker. My friend called and complained and got her phone Monday plus a 50 dollar thing. I just don't understand what went wrong with mine.
