iOS 6 Bluetooth problems

So I have an iPhone 4S and IPad 2. I have updated them both to iOS 6 and am having Bluetooth problems on both devices... It connects and plays for about a minute and for some odd reason it cuts out every couple seconds/minutes. I have to keep pausing or skipping tracks in order for the music to play comfortably again. This happens to me on BOTH devices and also happens on my buddies iPhone 4S as well.

I never had any of these problems in iOS 5... So does anyone know if it could be a bug or how I can fix it?

Apple seems to not want cigars from its customers, just our money. I continue to be disheartend and offended by the lack of response. The ultimate irony is that this forum is hosted by Apple but still ignored.

In more positive news, these are Alpine's responses yesterday:

Alpine Electronics @AlpineUSA

@CaliforniansGPS Fix is coming, as you know w/testing technology, not always as scheduled unfortunately, but it IS coming, to all Alpine's.

Alpine Electronics @AlpineUSA

@CaliforniansGPS We understand the frustrating wait, but can assure you it IS coming - crossing our fingers for release this week.

Hi.

I just updated my iPhone 4S from iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6.1.

I tested the Bluetooth connection in my Mini Cooper SD... same problem as under iOS 6.0.1. I still can't synchronize the contact and the connection drops every few seconds.

I'm getting angry!

I think Apple Computer Inc. died with Steve Jobs...

Good night.

I agree.. Apple has died with Steve...

just updated my 3GS and now it won't connect to my MBP anymore. was working happily until iOS 6 came along, but connecting to MBP on 6.0.1.. now on 6.1, it won't even connect. Great! Well Done Apple!

I'm not going to update my iPad 3 until this issue is fixed.. or maybe it will never be fixed. Is this the way Apple takes away one function at a time to force iSheep to upgrade to the latest?

RIP Apple...

YES AND YES I AM SHOUTING!!! When will Apple roll back the functionality of the bluetooth to pre OS 6?

2 x 3GS 1x 4GS 1x 16GB ipad and none of them see each other any more !!!

Personal hotspot used to be flawless and allowed share internet usage over all devices now inop.

Internet WiFi connection is also Flaky on Netgear Router post OS 6 despite being rock solid before!!.

Please pay attention APPLE you are FORCING people to jailbreak their kit to allow os rollbacks!!!.

This does not bode well with the majority of apple users who always used to enjoy the stability of apple products..!!!

SORT IT NOW!!!

iOS 6.1 has just been released.

I have found iOS 6.1 to actually fix my bluetotth issues with my "Beats Wireless".

*originially on 6.0 my music would cut-out every 5-15 minutes*

After 6.1 installed, I have not had any cut-outs what so ever. I have been listening to music for 3 hours straight without any cut-outs as of 1/28/13.

6.1 on my iPhone 4S has fixed my bluetooth issue as of now. (Siri is still disabled via bluetotth which was not a problem in 5.0) Will be testing iPad 2's bluetooth later today to see if 6.1 also fixes this issue, since I have had the same problem since 6.0 came out.

Well congratulations to those of you who have got something that works... my phone still reacts the same way with my Nokia CK-15W car kit and whats more I'm now having problems with text messaging (not related to Bluetooth but another indication of poor testing at Apple at the moment).

I guess that I'm finally going to have to bite the bullet and spend piles of money to replace a working Bluetooth car kit. That'll be less money to spend at the Apple store I guess!

I received an ipad3 as a gift for doing good work.

Bluetooth issues, wi-fi issues, you have to go over your shoulder to scratch your *** to do the simplest things.

You become a slave to iTunes. A simple photo transfer becomes a stravaganza of clicks.

Restrictions, limitations, consumption and more consumption and no production.

Not all of us want to sit around chatting, watching stupid time stealing videos and who is the latest on the top music charts. Some of us would like to get some serious work done anytime anywhere with any program, yes, program thats what we old skool guys used to call them not apps.

BOY I'M I GLAD I DID NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

FINALY THE SOLUTION TO ALL MY IPAD PROBLEMS IS HERE!!!!

MY MONEY IS GOING TO THE M I C R O S O F T S U R F A C E P R O !!!!

Nuff said.

Just installed iOS 6.1. yesterday in the hope that it would fix the issues with choppy music when using my Bluetooth headsets Nokia BH-505....

Passed the same spot today on the way to work, and got the same result: music went crazy, choppy etc.

I cannot repeat enough: The BT is not shielded well enough... anything from traffic signals to cars driving past using some BT gear WILL interfere with your music...

I am really SO disappointed with Apple... why the **** don't the get their finger out of (you know what) and FIX that BT problem NOW?!

I have read above that a members Beats wireless are now working again, but I simply don't dare spending 500 USD on a headset that will probably not work... at least my Nokia BH-505 doesn't work as it should.

For Christ sake, Apple.... WAKE UP!!!!!!!!

Can anybody say something about the voice quality via bluetooth during phone calls with iOS 6.1? With my old iPhone 4s on iOS 5.x, everything worked amazingly perfect. When I got my iPhone 5 with iOS 6, more than 50% of the people that I talked to via the same bluetooth handsfree car stereo complained about heavily garbled voice quality. iOS 6.01 didn't change anything about that, so I'm wondering if there's an improvement now with 6.1? Can't test it in my own right now but I'd love to read about your experiences!
