iOS 6 Bluetooth problems

So I have an iPhone 4S and IPad 2. I have updated them both to iOS 6 and am having Bluetooth problems on both devices... It connects and plays for about a minute and for some odd reason it cuts out every couple seconds/minutes. I have to keep pausing or skipping tracks in order for the music to play comfortably again. This happens to me on BOTH devices and also happens on my buddies iPhone 4S as well.


I never had any of these problems in iOS 5... So does anyone know if it could be a bug or how I can fix it?

The problem with my Volo is that it does not recognize ANY configured phone (all my devices that I've upgraded to OS 6.) It will not let me add the new phone because it cannot see OS 6!

Here is what pioneer replied to the call they have open for it for me. Of course mine is one of the one that ate waiting for an update to be announced. I also mentioned to Apple yesterday that this will keep me from purchasing the iphone 5 until issue is resolved of course his response was " I am sorry to hear that" and moved on to next mantra of how they are working extremely hard to find a solution and rolling back to iOS 5.1.1 was not an option

I noticed this problem on my 3rd Gen iPad immediately after the update to iOS6. I have a Bluetooth speaker box that I've streamed music to ever since I got my iPad in March and never had any problems. Right after the ios6 update I've noticed the music skips every 3-4 minutes and seems to cut off the first few seconds of every track when playing consecutive songs. Something definitely changed with the Bluetooth driver in the new update. I really hope Apple fixes this, it's a minor but quite annoying inconvenience

I'm going to jump in here and say I'm still waiting for a fix for my Bluetooth problems from iOS5! I actually hoped it might be fixed in iOS 6, but no.


Specifically that my Nokia CK1-15W Hands Free Car Kit hasn't displayed network, caller, battery or signal strength since I upgraded from iOS 4.


The Genius Bar tell me that it's not their fault and I need to get Nokia to upgrade the firmware. This is on a device that is not capable of having the firmware updated!


And if it's not Apple's fault then how come the shiny new Blackberry that I got from work a couple of months ago doesn't seem to have an issue with it?

I have the same issue with my Denon Exercise Freak headphones. Bought them in September and loved running with them for 2 weeks, no issues, then upgraded to iOS 6 and the music cuts in and out. Called Denon and they exchanged it for a new pair of headphones but still the same issue.


Then I tried to use my jawbone wireless headset and got the same result (audio cutting in and out).


So I came here looking to see if anyone else has had issues, and now I find this post.


I was really upset with Denon when it now appears it wasn't their issue.


Apple, please fix this asap! I was told that I have to exchange my iPhone 4S at an apple store if I want to downgrade to iOS5....and I have no time to go thru all of the steps y'all have put on this message board.


I am so furious at Apple.....whatever happened to "It just works"???? PLEASE FIX THIS, APPLE

This is a message to all. After spending some time with the gracious Samatha of Apple Technical Support by phone, we got this problem to the point where I needed to completely restore my phone. This takes about a half-hour, BE SURE YOU HAVE BACKED UP YOUR PHONE DATA TO YOUR HARD DRIVE OR I CLOUD. After performing the restore the iPhone 4s with OS 6 works perfectly.




This may still be an Apple software ugrade problem, as you shouldn't need to restore your phone to get it to work normally as it did with the last upgrade, but as it is, for me, this was the fix. I am so glad to say it all works perfectly now.

I'm having a similar problem with my iPhone 4S and my 2012 Subaru Forester's Nav system. Takes a few tries to connect, and sometimes I have to manually make it retry.


Haven't had it lose connection after it's established, though.


Hopefully Apple is on it.

I have had some success finally.

I went into the Apple store and explained my Bluetooth problem and they gave me a replacement phone.

They did say that there are clear problems with ios 6. But to try the new phone and see if it had the same problem. It did...

Got another new phone again after the replacement phone kept switching off every few hours. Then I rang Subaru and got my car booked in for them to have a look at it under the new car warranty still. They did say my 2011 Forester needed a software restart and there was an upgrade that it needed. They did all of this and now my Bluetooth works fine, touch wood. Does the odd "can't find device etc" but ends up finding it after a few goes and stays connected.


Finally..
