iOS 6 Bluetooth problems

So I have an iPhone 4S and IPad 2. I have updated them both to iOS 6 and am having Bluetooth problems on both devices... It connects and plays for about a minute and for some odd reason it cuts out every couple seconds/minutes. I have to keep pausing or skipping tracks in order for the music to play comfortably again. This happens to me on BOTH devices and also happens on my buddies iPhone 4S as well.

I never had any of these problems in iOS 5... So does anyone know if it could be a bug or how I can fix it?

Ever since I upgraded to iOS 6 I too have had a spotty Bluetooth music connection with my Ford SYNC system. The music has a tendency to cut in and out from time to time. On a 30min drive it probably cuts in and out about 5 times. Last time I had Bluetooth issues was when I had the iPhone 3G. Anyone know of a fix or if Apple is even addressing it?

I am having a similar issue with my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid. Before iOS 6, no problems, but now with iOS 6 it only auto-pairs about 25% of the time. As I don't use bluetooth for anything other than phone I can't answer other functionality, but it's irritating to go into iPhone Settings all the time and re-initiate connection. I took all other phones off my car's list, and all other devices off of the iPhone, and it still doesn't help. Unlike yours, at least mine pairs, but not reliably. Have you gotten any help from Kia?

I have an Alpine CDE-HD137BT deck in my car and now with the IOS 6 upgrade I can no longer control my iPhone 4 (change tracks, fast forward, pause) from the Alpine deck like I could with IOS 5. THANKS APPLE!! Now when I drive off a cliff while changing a podcast from my iPhone IT"S ON YOUR HANDS APPLE!!! Joking, but could you please fix this in the next update please!! I would appreciate it. There seems to be a lot of bluetooth issues with the update so I don't think it's the stereo.

I have tried this and it hasn't worked for me.

I went into the Apple store yesterday and got a replacement phone to see if it as my device that had the issue. The people there said that there is clearly a problem with IOS 6 and that there a phones that have Bluetooth and wifi connection issues.

I have had the new phone for a day now and it has not fixed anything. I have contacted my car manufacturer to ask if there are problems with their Bluetooth and waiting to hear back.

Apple store staff said technicians are working on an update and that there is a clear problem with Bluetooth in ios6.

I have now a problem with my widex hearing aid bt connection to the iphone.

The connection keeps dropping out and then not being recognised when I reconnect.

I;ve noticed too that when the device is connected there's a spinning wheel next to "devices" which wont stop even though i am connected to MDEX (the name of my hearing aid partner.

I suspect others who have impaired hearing will find the same if the ug to ios6.

I do hope that Apple realise they've published advice is impacting on people with hearing disabilities

I called Apple Support again today to see what the status is. The IOS Support tech said that they were aware of the problem and they are working to resolve it. They do not have time frame of when a fix will be released, and they will NOT support downgrading to previous version. They appologize about any problems this may have caused and hope that I continue to be a VAULED customer.

I had to laugh at him for that one. At least now they admitt there is a problem and at least say they are working to resolve it. Last week when i opened the case like alot of others here I was told the problem was not an "Apple" problem but the Hundreds of hardware vendors out there that needed to release updates from their side or of course I could purchase NEW hardware to use with the iPhone, iPad , iDevice.... My 70K BWM (insert your car here) does not work with my iDevice.... Guess i need to buy a new car. UNBELIEVABLE APPLE you should be ashamed of your selves.

I have the 2012 Volvo XC 90, a great car, and now the iPhone will not connect by bluetooth.

The dealer says they've had numerous calls about this, it is not a Volvo problem but to call Apple.

Here I am, What can we do? Do I need to get an Android phone in the interim? I need something that works.

Why is Apple not addressing this? It worked before with other OS's but not 6!
