Strange font in dialog boxes!

I just now updated to OSX 10.8.2 and it appears that Gremlins took over...

Every dialog box that appears asking for my password uses a Middle Eastern script that I am not familiar with. I checked in my Language and Text settings in the System Preferences and only the English language fonts are enabled.

So, how do I get rid of the Fonts from Iran or werever...?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6), Also uses an iPad

Please post a screen shot so we can see what you are talking about.

A possible fix is to go to system preferences/language & text/language and use the Edit button to uncheck the box for Arabic (assuming that is what this is) and then restart.

Never mind! I just logged out and back in and the problem seems to have resolved itself. Sorry!
