Bluetooth Problem

Same issue here on an Alpine CDE-133BT, works fine for via bluetooth for phone control but audio streaming is a no go, as everyone has stated you can control playback from the phone but no track skipping or pausing. The odd thing is audio control works perfectly from my Jaybird Freedom headphones.

I'd be surprised if a fix comes soon as the bigger issue seems to be the displeasure with the new maps. Luckily for me I have an XM Skydock cradle for my iPhone that I use more than streaming music from my phone.

I can get my iphone4S with IOS6 play the same 3 tracks out of 150, but no others, when I try to play a trcak it scrolls through all the others, occasionally allows plays mostly pauses the car staero. Please fix soon.

Same issue here with Pioneer AVH P2400BT. I have contacted Pioneer, they are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.

You cannot roll back to iOS 5.1.1, believe me, I've tried.

I have the AVH-P2400BT. I can stream if I kick off playback from my iPhone3Gs w/iOS 6, but it won't start from the AVH console. Once it's playing, I can play/pause from the console, but I can't skip or repeat. No track info no matter what I do, although the USB connection still seems to work properly.

Have you tried the phone?

I have the same problems with my iPhone 4S and my Beats Wireless Headphones (V2) as Ctdada21 since the update to iOS 6 😠

I just bought the same Pioneer AVH-P2400BT less than a month. I got to enjoy all the features everyone is talking about for a couple weeks and it was awesome! And like everyone else, I was naive enough to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.

That would be fantastic if Panasonic could come up with some sort of solution since it's unlikely Apple will do anything. I woud happily go back to OS 5 just to regain this feature alone! The thought of buying another iPhone 4 with the older OS on it has even crossed my mind. But with my luck, they're loading OS 6 on everything so I'd be hosed either way.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Pioneer's solution!! 😮

I thought I was the only one having this issue. I tried everything and still nothing. Before I did that update I was able to utilitize the buttons on my steering wheel in my Mercedes and now I can't. It's frustrating to have to pick up the phone to find new music and dangerous because you have to take your eyes off of the road! I hate this, I would have never done that update if I knew this would happen

With all of these issues I find with different car stereos, why can't apple give an option to go to older version of BT until the rest of the world updates to new 4.0? I have a 2010 Camaro. I can stream music, but can't get the phone to work through the stereo. The BT logo doesn't light up anymore.......?

I have a BMW 535XI and I can also see my contacts but can't call them. I am not happy at all. Apple needs a fix for this right away!!!

Hi, the problem I was facing was finally not a Bluetooth problem, but due to Facebook integration in iOS6, I got many contacts on my iPhone and that was too many for my BMW 3.

After reducing the number of contacts on the iPhone then sync again, every thing is fine.

Thank you for your feedback. I know that mine isn't due to that however because I don't have my facebook contacts on my phone. I do appreciate the knowledge though, just in case I should need it.

I feel the same way, but luckily my music works, my phone doesn't half of the time.

Fixed by restorig ad using the itunes backup, whenever I first used the icloud backup, music would not play, everything now works using the itunes backup first after a restore

Same here. Please fix this, Apple.

Bluetooth with my 2012 Subaru Forester does not stay paired and every time I get back into the car I need to go to settings and re-pair the i phone 5 with IOS 6. I also lost ability to control everything but the volume.
