Exchange mail after iOS 6 upgrade not working
I had this working fine and then upgraded to iOS 6. I now get "cannot get mail the connection to the server failed". Anyone else having issues with Exchange mail after iOS 6 upgrade?

I should also mention that my Gmail is working fine and I have tried powering the iPad off and back on.

The error connecting to server should be fixed by changing the days mail to sync to 1 month.
I set to 1 month, hard reset the iPad, and still didn´t work.
iPhone with the same settings working fine.
Go to Outlook Web Access - Options and remove the iPad from there.
I noticed there were 2 entries for iPad.. removed both, removed the account, added again... I did notice the "iPad connection" in the mobile options in Outlook Web Access returned, but no "Successfull sync" yet, and no connection in iPad yet.
I´ll wait overnight, maybe some server syncs... hope it works.
How many ActiveSync devices are connected to this Exchange Mailbox?

This is a limit on the server-side? I mean, for all the accounts? Or only my account?
For mine, two notebooks, iPhone and iPad (everything was working, and suddenly iPad stopped).

It depends on the Exchange Server but it could be that a limit may be preventing multiple devices from connecting at the same time. Make sure that only one entry for each is in Outlook Web Access. In addition, make sure your iPad is fully updated.

THIS WORKED!
I have the iPhone 6 and have had 3 previous iPhones without ever having a problem with Microsoft Exchange email. However, since getting the iPhone 6 I've had to restart (off/on) my phone every day or it has trouble connecting to the internet via WIFI and to Exchange. Then, the past couple days I had trouble connecting to Exchange despite the internet working. Here's what fixed it (at least for now):
- Log into your Exchange account on the internet (desktop/laptop). For instance, my address is: www.exchange.iu.edu
- Go to "phones"
- Delete all phone accounts. You should see all previous phones that connected to your exchange server listed.
- Go to your iPhone and in Settings delete your Exchange account
- For good measure, I also powered down and powered up my phone.
- Set up you exchange account again on your phone
- Remember that you will need to make it your default mail and default calendar again if you wish.
