iMessage won't work after iOS 6 upgrade

Since I've installed iOS 6, it seems my iMessage will not work correctly.

Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6

I had the same problem but I solved it

Try to reset your network setting

Then go to settings -> iTunes & App Store -> your apple ID -> view apple ID -> country region choose United States

With None payment method

Then save and try to login to your iMessage and FaceTime

Don't forget to change back your country to allow the updates for your previous installed apps

Still doesn't work here. The ironic (and hilarious bit) is that it tells me either my Apple ID username or password are incorrect, but that is what I used to log in here to send this very post AND what I am using to D/L Mountain Lion right now. So, I give up on iMessage working again on the iPad. Because I have tried everything.

Ok so I had the same issue. iMessage on my iPod would not send. I ended up doing a few things and I'm not sure which was the remedy.

- first I made sure that my phone number was the only 'address' to send and receive messages. (I have my iPod synced to my iPhone) but I doubt this actually had any bearing on getting it to work.

- second, I signed out of my apple ID. This is also in the 'send and receive' tab of the message settings. Your apple ID will be at the very top and just press it to bring up an option menu. Sign out and then sign back in.

-lastly, I turned iMessage off and then back on and the. Double checked to make sure that my phone number was still the only address selected to send and receive.

After that sequence of steps my messaging began to work on my iPod and was keeping synced with my iPhone. Hope this works for everyone else that has had this issue.

I've been having the same problem. Whenever I try to send a message it will just say not delivered. I have tried resetting the network settings, logging in and out of imessage, and and even resetting back to factory settings. The weird thing is that it started working for about 10 minutes, but then Imessage stopped working again. This is really annoying and I hope it gets fixed soon.
