I have an Ipod Touch 4th Gen that I bought in April with the warranty, and I was wondering if I could trade it in for the Ipod Touch 5 and pay a much smaller amount for it.

you can try to sell it to somebody though and use that money towards a new one
you can probably get a good price cuz its still pretty new
