Changing music with Front Row Slideshow from iPhoto

I think this fix no longer works with iLife '08. Can somebody confirm this? Or better still, is there a new fix?

Have just been experimenting trying to find a solution too. There's actually a pretty simple one - turn the music off in iPhoto...Works for me with iPhoto '08.

iPhoto '08 just click the play button ‣ even without any photos selected, then music then uncheck the +play music during slideshow+ and now the good part...



+SAVE SETTINGS+ button saves as default settings
so no music in any slideshows in front row except for those you choose to set music for beforehand

unfortunately, it only works for albums/slideshows, but not for "last event" or "all photos" where instead of playing the little default music, it plays nothing... stoping the previously playing music...

any ideas (Tiger 10.4.11 + tiger front row)

DangerDoom you ROCK! I had 4 slide shows with music set to a playlist. All 4 played perfectly in iPhoto (08) but when I went to Front Row (2.1.2) only 2 played with music and 2 were silent! Screwed with it for hours and then saw your post. Pulled out all the music in the music folder in the resource folder but left the folder. Went back and reselected the playlists for all 4 in iPhoto. Went back to Front Row and they all played perfect! What I want to know is how the heck did you figure that one out????

How do you make it play a different song for each event?

I havent been able to progress beyond this either in Tiger's Front Row...I can live with it though
