Hello!
injust updated to ios6 on my ipad 2 this morning. I tried to video chat on Skype after work and there is suddenly this little green and pink line on the side that was not there last night. Is this some sort of bug? I have deleted and re installed the app, reset the ipad and ran updates on everything. The camera looks perfect as ever in all other video and camera apps, but it suddenly messed up on Skype. Sooo.....what's up?

Hi There, I have noticed exactly the same issue on my IPAD 3 after updating to IOS 6. I did notice that the green and pink lines do go away after approx 5 mins. I also tested facetime with no issues and de-installed/re-installed skype but had the same problem. Hopefully Skype will update soon, otherwise I guess we will have to stick with it. The good news is that we are not alone with this issue so the IPAD and camera are working correctly

The same issue with my ipad 3. :(
I have noticed a dramatic decline in battery life since downloading 6 on my iPhone 4S. Any fixes? Also, on my wife's 4S, Skype won't let her make her status as online, but rather it keeps her in a constant state of offline, but she can still Skype with no porblems. Any ideas?
Same issue on my iPad2 and iPhone 5. Makes me mad since Skype is the only way to communicate with my deployed husband
I am also on deployment. If you hear of a fix, let me know.

Same here. But sometimes it goes away. But it's so annoying sometimes isee pink line and green in my camera.
In regards to Skype; I just spoke with an Apple care rep & his supervisor said iOS 6 is not compatible with Skype and we'll have to wait for next update for a possible fix. My husband works off island at a remote camp and we too use Skype to communicate. I'm disappointed with IOS 6. Not only messed up Skype but lost most of my apps & will have to sync with my Mac (fortunately I did recent backup).
I really expect more from Apple and hope For a better product in the near future.
I hope being acquired by Microsoft hasn't changed the way they work and fix skype for iOS 6 ASAP as well as update its UI to take advantage to larger display in iPhone 5. What would be really awesome is if they can use HD frontfacing camera in iPhone 5 for HD calls.

I upgraded to iOs 6 to my Iphone, after the skype is messed up. if I try to call , It nerver open the connecting page. I have to log out and login , then its fine. evety time do this process is difficult.Is there any fix for this.
I was one of the first day purchaser of the New Ipad in Malaysia. I use IPad mainly to communicate my family who are in India and use Skype daily. Untill i updated IOS 6 i didnt have any issues in any of the apps. Infact i became a fan of Apple. But once i updated IOS 6 i am finding dificulties in using the Skype. I am able to view and hear the viedeo of the person i am calling but my own video is stuck the moment the call is initiated and so i am not aware if they are seeing my completely or not which is really annoying. Kindly let me know if any fix is available for this. I have deleted and re-installed the Skype option. I have reboot the IPAD too but still have the same issue.
Apple fighting with other companies have made the customers suffer. They cant force us to use what they have but they should make us happy with letting us use what we like.
IOS 5.1 or 5.1.1 was so much stable than this. I am also experiencing the same problem of pink and green lines in video call picture since i have updated IOS 6 and it's not even removing even after reinstallation of skype or IOS.
I thought apple was very much stable but after this problem it seems that apple has degraded it's reputation and you can expect any thing bad by them.
Please provide us any new update to overcome this issue otherwise this is so annoyable.
