injust updated to ios6 on my ipad 2 this morning. I tried to video chat on Skype after work and there is suddenly this little green and pink line on the side that was not there last night. Is this some sort of bug? I have deleted and re installed the app, reset the ipad and ran updates on everything. The camera looks perfect as ever in all other video and camera apps, but it suddenly messed up on Skype. Sooo.....what's up?

It's not apple it's Skype. Skype needs to update their app to run on ios 6. When a new operating systems come out, apps need to be updated to be compatible most of the time. *not all. When you upgraded to ios 6, at least with me, afterwards I had 4-7 apps that needed to be updated right after. Those developers were ready for the new ios.
You'll have to wait for Skype to release an update.
Heard that updated Skype app on iPhone has become total crap, totally unusable. Fortunately my copy on iPad3 seems unaffected. Skype please get your acts together....
