Why cant I send pics since the ios 6 upgrade? Any clues on a fix?

Since the upgrade No one in the house has been able to send photos.

I have researched and found that you could attempt to "reset" the network settings - THIS DID NOT WORK for us! (but feel free to try it)

Also we tried the basic, shut down the phone for 2 minutes method - THIS DID NOT WORK for us! (but feel free to try it)

I am so at my wits end I could SCREAM!

Apple is supposed to be the WORLDS BEST! Then they bring out THIS kind of TRASH?!? Really? Siriously? (yes - that was a total BLAST at Apple)

I enjoy using my camera but LOVE being able to send the pictuers to ppl in the family when I take them... as does everyone else in the household.

I'd appreciate if anyone had any clues on a avenue I have NOT attempted please let me know.

Thanks every so much!

Here is how I fixed mine.

1. Settings >> General >> Cellular >> Cellular Data - ON

2. Settings >> General >> Cullular >> Voice Roaming - ON

3. Settings >> General >> Cullular >> Data Roaming - ON

This helped my fix the issue of sending MMSes to people without iMessage. Remember:

-You need cellular data enabled to enable data roaming.

-You need voice roaming enabled to enable data roaming.

-LTE/4G is optional.

I just called Apple and they have no idea why we can't send SMS or MMS text images. I can get text to go through. I called ATT and depending on who I get is an even wrose answer....no one knows how to answer.

I just had a replacement phone sent b/c the sound stop working on my iphone 4S. I don't want to purchase a new $825 iphone. ARGH!!!!! This is annoying. I have tried all the short-cuts listed above....after 12/5 I haven't been able to send pic texts to anyone other than iphone users. My software is and has been up-to-date. Nothing occured on 12/5...other than this is the last time an image was able to be sent from my phone.

Hi all, for start I think Apple could explain this a bit better in the first place. I didn't read all comments and answers, so here is just the solution for attaching more than one picture.

1 - open PHOTOS

2 - click EDIT (top right corner)

3 - pick your pictures - limit is FIVE ONLY (courtesy of Apple, 😠)

4 - click SHARE in the top left corner

5 - click MAIL

6 - finish your message details

7 - send

You want to send some more pictures than five - buy an app (cute, isn't it....😠) - unless there is some free one already - let us know, pls.

I fixed my problem with sending photos by doing a reset of my network settings through General/reset/reset network setting. This was mentioned in a different forum as the solution that worked for some people. I just changed my ISP and for some reason this stopped working shortly after I switched. I am fine for now but may need to do this again. Note I do not have a data plan so this was an issue with my wifi at home.

Kara I hope you get too read this as it will solve your problem. Unfortunately you bailed on apple already, most likely. Anyways I couldn't send videos or pics and this super quick trick fixed it for me. Go to settings>mms check all the boxes OFF. To to home screen hold power button and shut off phone. Turn phone on after 5 seconds to back to settings>ms and turn all your iMessage/SMS/group text ..etc ON.

Then you should be able to instantly send message pictures and videos. Hope this helps

Anyone having this problem use Comcast/Xfinity at home? None of my devices (iPad 2, iPad mini, iPod) will send pictures via iMessage at home —text messages work fine. However, if I take them to a different wi-fi network, they work fine. There is a known issue with some Comcast modems (Arris TG852 and TG862), and iOS6
