Lightning cable USB connector stuck!

Same problem on iPod Touch 5 Lightning Cable, I am in Apple Store wait for appointment. So dispointed.

Same thing happened to me in my work Phillips monitor - I put it in just to sync with itunes and couldnt get it out - will be calling apple for replacement

Same issue with my iPod touch connector. a thin business card jammed in the USB port worked for me...

Yay, I got my replacement cable in today!

Boo, it is now stuck in my laptop!

I don't know why they bothered to send another cable if they are all bad.

See my post above, try putting it in a combo port. USB/SATA. Mine get's stuck there, but not the plain USB on the HP laptop.

Try slipping s piece of thin plastic in the port to raise the fingers a little. Something like a piece of a red solo cup (my favorite shim material).

Why should we try getting other tools out to resolve these connection problems. Why can't apple sort this out? How do we make this a priority.

Why can't apple sort this out its probably the most replied and read thread it's disgusting that apple don't even look at there own community forum.

Used an old plastic membership card (cut to size) to free the Lightning.

You saved me a trip to the Apple Store.

All of these examples, And yet Apple has still done nothing to address this....or even acknowledge there is an issue.

I thought that was just common sense not to plug the iPhone 5 lightining USB cable into Apple Wired Keyboards as well lol.

Both my lightning cables for my ip5 have just delveope power surge faults and wont charge or sync!!

Does apple replace these as part off warranty?

If so is there a number to call? cheers Sq
