Can't upload slideshow to YouTube

I have created a slideshow that I want to post on YouTube. I presume that it's really a slideshow. because it appears in the SLIDESHOWS section in the column on the left-hand side of the iPhoto screen. Also, when I press PLAY or PREVIEW at the bottom of the screen, the Slideshow I have made plays. The problem arises when I try to get YouTube to upload the Slideshow. It doesn't appear in the files under "Slideshow". Other Slideshows are there, but not the one I just created. I feel that I must have omitted an important step. What could that be?

I have made some progress, but I can't yet upload my Slideshow to YouTube. The progress I have made is that I finally found the Slideshow that I want to upload to YouTube. It is in "Photo." which is under "Media" in the left-hand column. However, I can't open it. The OPEN button is grayed-out.

You export the Slideshow from iPhoto - this makes a movie of it - and you upload that.

I was about to say, "That's not enough," but instead of that I sighed and clicked on EXPORT...Again. This time I followed it through to the end, and this time I was rewarded by the sight of the Slideshow in question where it was supposed to be, and where YouTube could upload it.

I do have one remaining question, though. When I click on EXPORT, the screen says that a copy will automatically be sent to iTunes. Where in iTunes? Some of my test Slideshows used many MBs, and I wanted to delete them, but I couldn't find them. Where are they?

Thanks for your help. I now think that I'll be able to create a Slideshow from scratch in mere seconds. Of course, I have already stockpiled most of the images 'I'll be using. That's what takes time, that and fact-checking.

Look under Movies, in iTunes.

There was no "Movies" there, but I've learned that you say a lot in a few words, so I kept searching. I finally realized that, for some reason, those files had never been created, because under "Library" there was only "music" and "podcasts". If the Slideshows had been sent to iTunes, the word "Movies" would also appear under "Library". Right?
