Well i had sound problems too until i realised the slider buton on top of the + and - butons was in the wrong position. That buton basically turns your sound off. Didnt realised i had touched it until i started messing with everything trying to figure out what was wrong. I realise it might be a noob solution but for does like me that didnt realise what that buton was maybe check to see that that is not the problem. It should be slid towards the screen to have sound btw. Hope this can help some of you.

Well I guess I'm not the only one that is having all the no sound problem from the earpiece after the great update, at least that was what I thought caused it. I read a few of the problem solvers not sure about Q-tip but if it works great going to music turning up the volume still headphones, I pod volume same still headphones ok what I did to solve my problem was when you get the incoming call turn your top button up ta da it works now I wish some one can tell me how to undate my great update I cloud looking thing,I liked my phone before

Hey after scrolling through this I couldn't find a q-tip and I shoved the earphone jack up the hole a couple times but nothing worked so in a fit of rage I threw my pone on my bed really hard and BAM it works. I only suggest this as a last resort just in case it breaks (it's a bit risky throwing it) but it works (if not the first time try a few more, it took me about 2-3).

Hope this helped,

Slinky

Q-tip is the solution...The only way to know if it's Q-tip is the solution, is if your iphone show the message "headphone volume or volume phones de ouvido or volumen de audífonos" when you press side volume buttons, means that your iphone believes that you have your headphones connected...so USE AND Q-TIP or COTONITO or PALITO DE FÓSFORO CON ALGODÓN...put it in and take it out at less three times...If you have a song playing it will stop when your phone stop thonking that you have your headphones connected.
