iPhoto 9.4 - Cannot send/share photos via Outlook 11

As we are all having this problem, may I suggest that we all send feedback to Apple and Microsoft about this issue.

Some of you may have already done this.

Bottom line is Apple and/or Microsoft need to fix this.

In the mean time, I am using OS X Mail with iPhoto, which works fine.

Yes! This is a fix. They had to change the AppleScript. I just compared the script from the previous verison of iPhoto and this new version and they did make changes to the last few lines of the script. They may have also made some changes in the program code but just as I thought, it wasn't a problem with Outlook. Thanks to Apple for getting this fixed! I use this feature every day.

hmmm, not working/fixed for me with iphoto 9.4.2, osx 10.8.2 early 2011 mbp 15 inch...

Not working for me as well. iPhoto 9.4.2, OSX 10.7.5.

Working perfectly for me since iPhoto was updated to 9.4.2.

Outlook 11 ver. 14.2.5.

OS X 10.8.2.

iMac 21.5" (mid 2011)

OK, found a workaround.

Deleted my iCloud account from iPhoto and then add it again.

Now sharing through iPhoto using email works fine.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Have Mac OSX 10.7.5. Not exactly helping my case in converting Microsoft users to iMac.

I have gone into Mail and tried attaching as well as sharing through iPhoto - result no further forward and a good hour wasted.

I have Apple support so will give that a try - doesn't look promising from previous posts though.

Upgrade your Mac to OS X 10.8.2.

Make sure you're running Outlook 11 ver 14.3.1 and iPhoto 9.4.2.

You should have no problems then.
