iPhone 5 flash and shutter out-of-sync

Remove screen protector from the back that should resolve the problem.

Same here unfortunately in Finland as well, I bought it on the launching day 28th sept

I wonder how many of these phones having this trouble are 64GB.

Mine is, and I've noticed a few others.

Could it be a software management issue with so much memory to manage?

hmm, i don't see how the memory capacity could have anything to do with this, but mine is also a 64GB (white).

and no screen protector either - back or front.

Mine is 16 so memory related is out of the question

I've just talked to apple support and they suggested the same thing with the restore from backup and also no restore but setup as a new device ... I told them I've already done all that so they said to go to the carrier and change the phone ...

NOTE: I have rebooted my new iPhone 5 at least 10 times in the last two weeks. Not good. The iPhone 4 I had before needed rebooting perhaps 2-3 times PER YEAR.

i noticed my iphone 5 has this problem too. i can usually take one picture where the flash is in sync and then every subsequent picture is out of sync. the only way to get it working again is to turn the phone off and then back on. it will then take a picture in sync with the flash and then go back to being out of sync.

my iphone is a 16gb version so i can't see the problem can be hardware related.

it's a poor showing though and hopefully there'll be a software fix for it soon.

My two 64G white iphone5 have the same problem too. What is trouble iphone5. >.<

It will be fixed after restarting the iphone but the problem will come again soon.

I have feeded back to Apple

I got my phone on 09/27/12. I took a photo with my iPhone 5 64GB Black using flash for the first time tonight and I did have the same problem. Flash was out of sync, I tried rebooting and now it works fine. I'll keep trying and see if it comes back again. If it does comes back again, I'll take it to the apple store and complain about it. I was going to complain about the yellow screen and decided to wait, but now that there are 2 issues with my iP5, I'm definitely going to ask for a replacement.

I believe this is a software issue. I got a replacement phone two weeks ago and it worked flawlessly until this morning. I think it just gets out of sync after a while because of the camera's software. I sure hope this is the case and they can fix it with a software upgrade because I take a log of pictures.

The reboot resolved my flash out of sinc issues as well!!
