Hello everyone, have you guys done a restet on your iphones? if not hold down both the sleep button and home button when the iphone is on and wait for it to turn off and turn back on with the apple logo, worked with my friends iphone 5. I do know that there is a hotfix that apple is going to release for bluetooth on 6.1 i found out by my apple developing friend. He says they wont release the info about it.

    Napster,

Does a reset put it back to factory settings?

I wouldn't want to lose everything I've loaded

    into my phone.

    Thanks, Gracie

That reset won't cause any data loss.

You will need to check with the manual for your radio/headset etc to get the pin.  For most devices it is 1234 or 0000

FWIW, I talked with someone yesterday at Nissan that knew nothing but when I asked to

speak to her Supervisor she put me on hold then came back to say

the Supervisor said it was out and to get it from my Nissan dealer.....who

    btw knew nothing about it.

Not surprised the dealer knew nothing about it.  Then, of course, trying to get them to help you...is like an act of God.

Let us know if you have any luck getting the dealer to do the update

Bluetooth file transfer is not a feature of iOS.

Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some keyboards,

some peer-to-peer apps from the app store and internet tethering where provided by the carrier.

Other than this it will not connect to a phone/computer/device.  (thanks to ckuan for the wording)

I had a stable connection with my iPhone 4s and my 2006 Acura TSX.  One day it started acting funky.  I used the voice feature to remove my phone, however I then could not get my Bluetooth to re-establish a connection.

After much frustration, the following worked:

Connected my iPhone 4s blutooth to a DIFFERENT blutooth (in this case, I used a TomTom GPS)

    >> I then was able to connect up to my car no problem.  When doing the search feature, the car found in phone in less than 5 seconds.

This seemed to clear out the cache, or whatever was keeping my phone from connecting to my car.

I hope this helps someone else.

    Thanks

Has anyone had any luck with this lately? I have an Advent Bluetooth installed in my Mazda 2. My Iphone 3gs allowed outgoing calls to be connected and audible. Incoming calls stopped the radio but was only audible on the phone itself.I would have to yell into the phone that I would call the person back.

I just got an Iphone 5 and hoped that that might make a difference to the bluetooth issue. Not so.Still yelling into the phone. I am really tired of this issue. It has being ongoing for years!

There is a groundswell of complaints about iPhone related bluetooth issues on Twitter.

Tweet, retweet, add... make some noise.

A lot of these tweets are regarding not being able to pair with Nissan vehicles. Nissan has announced they are issuing an update for their cars. Wonder how many other auto makers are using the same system as Nissan?

    Hi Nabster,

I follow these steps but without success, unfortunatelly.

About sony headset mw600, it does not necessary to enter a code to pair.

It works perfectly with iphone 4S, 3GS and iPad too, but no success with iphone 5
