How do I sync photos FROM iphone TO pc using wifi?

I have a 4S I bought in Mar 2012 - just updated to IOS6

PC is a 2011 Dell Inspirion 620 running Windows 7

Browsers are IE & Chrome

I am a computer person so I'm not new to the techno world 😉 but this is my first iphone so I'm new to Apple 😎 There are plenty of places to get info about syncing photos using icloud or syncing from PC to iPhone but I'm getting conflicting 😕 info on syincing FROM iphone TO pc using WIFI. One video I watched told me I needed to download PhotoSync so I did. Then I read that I needed the companion app for Photosync 😢 -- Apple.com talks about something called iphoto 😕 😠 😢

I am totally confused can someone please explain to me how to transfer photos FROM my iphone TO my pc using WiFi?

Do I need to download something like photosync? or another type of app.?

Thank you

Christine

Ok, I will write this in my own words and see if this will make sense to you.

Ok, go here to download iCloud Control panel http://www.icloud.com/icloudcontrolpanel

When the download is complete, install it. Once it is installed you will have to sign in with your apple ID.

Once you're signed in and verification is complete make sure the "photo stream" toggle is on.

On your iPhone go to settings-iCloud ensure you're signed in, if you aren't then sign in, then ensure that "photo stream toggle is on.

Your photos should now automatically start syncing via iCloud/photo stream to your PC without physically connecting your iPhone to your computer.

You asked me if I read what you wrote. I did read what you wrote, and at no point did you expressly say you had set up iCloud. You said you tried some app called PhotoSync and wanted to know if there was another way to do it. You said you were confused about iCloud and other possible solutions. Not that you set up iCloud and it didn't meet your needs. I have no want or desire to "banter" with you.

I may have said some sarcastic things, that is simply how I communicate. It may not be nice, but if you wade past that you'll find my advice is sound.

Oh and I will honor your request, I will not be posting anything else in this thread.

I would suggest that you close this one and create a new one where you clearly state your question and how you want it answered so you can arrive at your desired end state headache free.

Good luck!

Once you got sarcastic with me I didn't care what you said.

It did'nt matter to me - because you had your own agenda and rather than try and understand my problem or ask me for further clarification you chose to be sarcastic toward me.

you people are nasty individuals that seem to get your life worth in a non-virtual world

You pride yourself in being able to "answer" peoples questions when in fact the only thing that you apparently are an expert in is web or site searches and re-printing the link in the form of an answer to a problem that someone is having. You can't re-state or explain in your own words how to do something, you rely solely on links and simply retype verbatiam what someone else wrote and you take the credit.

I have posted in various forums across the web and this is the first time I have been treated so rudely and with such disrespect and disregard for me as a human being.

I shall never come back to apple support forums again.

Wow, I actually had to set up an account just to reply to you OP. These guys have done nothing but try to help you but your snobbish attitude and know it all mindset have blinded you from the start. First you're a 'computer person' meaning someone who can use the **** out of Facebook but wouldn't know the first thing about command line arguements or networking protocols I'm guessing as when confronted with the answer within the first few posts you then require being told like a '3 yr old' how to do it and moan when it doesn't happen..... People like you are the reason the Internet is going to pot.

So, I had the same question, and I AM a computer person, and I thank the rest of you guys for the help, I've been avoiding iCloud as I thought it was only really useful for Mac owners.

Cheers!

Wow - I knew from hearsay that owning a PC was frustrating but look what it's done to hwalter2001us! This thread is as good or better better than rewatching 'Hello, I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC' ads -- and I was just looking at it to see if I could give some advice to a PC-owning friend who has just acquired an iPad. Why was everyone so nice to Walt?
