How do i go back to iOS 5 for my iPad

I, too, wish to return to IOS 5. I like the Siri experience of IOS 6, but that in no way cancels out the loss of street view and the slower user experience. Wish I knew why *I* finally clicked update. I knew better. Very frustrating.

Wow you just reopened an old post. Lots of things changed since this post was created. First of all google has official google maps app on App Store with street views and transit, and navigation. It's lot Better then old apple maps. Second you tube also has official app on App Store, better then old one that was removed.

So with iOS 6 today you should be allot better off then when this post was created.

Hello. When one searches for Google Maps for the iPad (not the iphone), no official Google Maps app shows up. What I do see are third party apps that use the Google Maps SDK. I purchased one, called iMaps I think it was. It works, has essential Street View, but works rather slowly. When I click on an address in an email or anywhere, the iPad still goes to Apple Maps -- which after a year of improvements is still sub par (no street view). You Tube, I don't care so much about. I downloaded something for iTunes which supposedly will let me go back to ios 5. Seems almost unlikely, but it might be worth the risk of trying.

You cannot downgrade to iOS5 the only way to do that is through jailbreaks and if you use them we and all of apple cannot help you.

When you say Apple cannot help me, you have to consider that I've never ever asked Apple for help with my ipad. Now I just want my integrated street view back, and with that, Apple cannot help me even if it wanted to.

You can't downgrade the iOS version - and you can still use your music on your iPad without having to pay to do so, why do you think that you need to pay ? If you are referring to Apple Music you can turn it off via Settings > Music
