Ok-This is the last time I am posting this so pay attention 🙂. The problem is in the restore from icloud. Someting happens that carries over and cause the batterie drain. When I called Apple Care, they told me to do the following and it worked!
1-Back up your Apps to iTunes to save time later
2-Reset Phone (Delete All Content)
3-Set up as a new Phone
4-Input your iCloud info to restore your contacts
5-Reconfigure your email accounts
6-Either Sync your Apps back from iTunes on your computer, or go the the APP Store and redownload them from the purchase section (I reccomend syncing to a computer then restoring (all done in itunes).
7-Condition your batterie-Drain it all the way down to 1% or better yet, let it just die completely. Then let it charge fully. This fix works and it works well. I went from very frustrated to extremely happy (although it was a pain to go through setting up as a new phone but I made the mistake of not syncing my apps to itunes on my Mac and had to download them all again.
Note: Once you do this you do not need to shut down any apps or or change any settings to restrict the functionality of your new device. Be coincious of things that do drain your battery like email push-unless you need your email more than every 15 minutes, set this to off and use fetch to get you emails. Adjust your screen to the lowest possible setting that works well for you and set the auto brightness feature. Also, if you really want to scale back, then slow down on the apps that use push notifications such as facebook, reminders, etc. I am now able to make it through the day without a charge...am losing about 1-2% for a 30 min phone call, and feel this has at least quadrupled my battery life. For more info see my other posts and conversations as they provide some other basic info as well as testimonials from other users who tried this and got great results. It works.
Also, I notice all of you like myself were there getting this device day 1. Didn't you expect something to be wrong? Apple will have a patch out in a couple of days and you will love your iphone again. Follow my steps and you will love it faster!
