The calendar on my ipad turns off as soon as I reach march 2013. February and april are OK though. I can´t add any events in march 2013. Why? Anyone else? When I add events in march 2013 in outlook or on my Iphone, there are no problems.

It's a bug that must not have been fixed in iOS 6 from 5. Change your April 1st event from an all day event to a specific time. Has something to do with the time change that day which causes problems with the iPad. Something like that I heard here.
Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

I had no all day events so took off UK Holidays calendar which worked but I now can't open calendar at all!! I click on the icon and it flashes to a blank page and then closes. Any ideas anyone?
I found that a 'Birthday' on 1st April sync'ed from Yahoo also caused the same problem. My daughter's birthday has been moved to 2nd April!
But I now can't open the calendar at all ! ! Can anyone help?

I had the same problem. To solve this you need to go into 'Mail, contacts, calendars', then 'time zone support' and change it to a different time zone (I chose Australia). Then, iCal should open. When it does, navigate away from March or April (most likely the cause of the crash) and into a different month. Then, you can go back and change the time zone to what it'll was before.
This has been doing my head in, the calendar just closing on me. Changing my April 1st event from an all day to a specific time fixed it. Happy days. Thanks.
I had the problem with an iPad 3 but no problem with iPhone 4S. Both integrated with Office Outlook 2010. I had downloaded holiday dates into the Outlook calendar which had 1st April as Easter Friday holiday, deleted this event in the Ipad calendar and now everything is back to normal!
Ok so my issues is compounded by the fact that it is MY birthday on April 1st. This is set as an all day event as calendar uses my apple ID which of course contains my birthday. Does anyone know if I can sort this or do I just need to ask Apple to make me a special 'April Fools' iPad?
I had this problem on my ipad4. Updated to iOS 6.1 last night and it looks like Apple have fixed this at last.
Yep it was a bug in 6.0.1-6.0.2
If u had a entry on April 1st it wouldn't open march etc, try deleting the entry and rebooting, 6.1 should have sorted it tho as they were supposedly working on a fix
