Infinit G37 and iPhone 5

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with car connectivity and the new iPhone 5 or older phones with ios 6.

My Problem:

Just got the iPhone 5 yesterday and was wondering if anyone is having a similar problem to mine. The phone paired without easily to my 2011 Infiniti G37 with navigation. Outgoing calls work fine. The problem is with incoming calls. When a call comes in it appears on my info screen as before, but as soon as I answer the call goes dead and the screen reverts back to where it was before the call. While it seems as if the call has been disconnected, in reality if I go to the audio source screen on the phone I can choose "MY CAR" and the call comes through the audio system but with massive interference. As always, Apple blames it on the car bluetooth system. This system worked flawlessly with my iPhone 4S and my wife's 4.

What possible reason would I have to misstate the time it took to do the update. When I arrived at the dealer the service manager (who I have known for 12 years, this is my third Infiniti purchased at this dealer) was just finishing the update in another G. He took the disk, we got in my car, and he inserted it into the CD slot. We sat in the car and talked while the update was loaded. It took about 10 minutes (maybe even 11 or 12) excuse me for rounding. If your dealer made you wait while they worked on other cars that has no bearing on the actual time it took to install the update.

finally got to test iOS 6.1.2 ... it works great hands free and BT stream works as expected... and I have a '13 FX37 WITHOUT the Infiniti update. I was scheduled to get it updated when it was released end of January but just never got around to driving it in for service. So my wife just called me and I was able to answer normally and she could actually hear me!! So it definitely was an iOS BT issue.

It seems that everyone who is having problems with their iPhone 5s didn't have issues with their previous iPhones. If you set up your new iPhone using a backup from your old one, some of the bluetooth settings that transferred may be causing your problems. Like BarryD123 said, Try backing up your new iPhone, restoring it, and setting it up as new iPhone. Then pair it with your Infiniti's bluetooth system as a new phone. Good luck!

Nope mine had never been synced with my computer or restored from a backup. After the latest iOS update everything works perfectly and I didn't have my FX37 software/firmware updated yet. I don't dial from the phone I use the vehicle interface to place and receive calls with zero issues. Audio streaming works perfectly too. All is well in my house now!
