I took about ten screen shots of each.
Just a bit ago I received a call from someone on behalf of the Apple engineering team and not because of the case I filed last night but because of my forum post, so they DO read these forums and its important you all keep posting your problems. I have become a beta tester for them of sorts, by installing a special battery profile monitor application that they will review the logs of in 48 hours.
It's a little disappointing that they didn't seem to care about the other, just as important issues I'm having that affect the functionality of my phone, such as web pages not loading half of the time, not being able to set a voicemail greeting in the voicemail section of the phone, not being able to connect to the iTunes server when trying to update an app, the processor running at whatever speed it feels like, the weird tether and cellular data reports, etc...
I encourage all of you to keep posting your problems, and keep probing your phone for problems you may not even be aware of if you don't use those features normally. Keep probing, and keep reporting them. The only way they will get fixed is if we are all proactive about this.
I'll keep you updated with any new information I find out, but I doubt they will admit any fault of theirs to a customer. Apple is never to blame, and never has taken responsibility for a single problem, ever. Sure, they come out with bug fixes and patches, but they never openly admit they were premature in releasing an operating system or a product.
As for me, I didn't pay $850 for half a phone, and if at the end of my two weeks there is still no fix I'll be returning it to the store as will many, many other people I'm sure. I doubt Apple wants the iPhone 5 to be known as the product that turned Apple users into Android users.
