So i finally figured out some of the issues i was facing.
My original factory unlocked iphone 5 was terrible. I tried 3 things, Restore, then DFU restore and finally go to the apple store which they had none to replace mine with. So i called up apple canada and they shipped me a new one with in 24 hours of calling, amazingly fast shipping. I shipped my old one back the same day and setup my new iphone 5 as a new phone. Same battery issues, only getting about 3-4 hours on full charge. So last night i tried one last thing before i try calling for a 3rd phone.
I deleted the ISPW file off my macbook pro and then just did a normal restore of iOS 6 on the new iphone 5. I then setup as a new phone and added my email accounts one and a time again. I also found turning off LTE since its still weak in Victoria BC. Turned off Bluetooth as i dont use it that much and Personal Hotspot off too. The brighness to about 90% bright. After all this i took my phone off charger at 6:00am and by noon and was over 70% with 2:10 minutes of usage. Im now at 34% with 4:03 hours of usage now.
Try this out and see if it works for any of you.
