I'm getting purple lines on my iPhone 5 sometimes when i take photos and videos what should i do?

I have a similar problem. I just have a small square which is always purple pixels. It only started doing it in the last couple of days. I have also noticed the weird thing that happens when using the keyboard sometimes.

Wish mine were intermittent or just the purple 'haze' everyone else seems to be getting. Mine is an entire purple screen followed by camera freeze. The 'aperture' closes and will not open again. Only seems to be back camera though. Unfortunately, I just started a once in lifetime trip to Angkor Wat and now no camera. Thanks, Apple!

Don't worry that is completely normal for an iPhone 4S or 5

If anyone is having this issue try to capture the problem with a screenshot or just on a vid or photo and show Apple. I am ahving a similar issue myself with the iPhone 5. My 4S never did this at all, it is not completely normal.

No its not, purple flare is when taking pictures, interference like zig zag patterns in pink are not 'normal' had handset replaced new one does not do it.

my iphone5 also has purple lines when i take pictures...ive taken a lot and have shown the thing to my service provider but they said im gonna monitor it... i showed them twice already.... how can i get my phone replaced?

Did anyone find a fix? My 4s started doing this ( after 1 yr of no issues) ,sadly it went from pink lines to No camera.My screen is frozen on the shutter. Front camera works but not the back one. I have tried all the resets,restores etc and nothing has worked. Was going to try putting a new camera but I suspect this is some software glitch.

Anyone put in a new camera and have it fix the problem?
