aperture 3.4 plug-ins give Editing Error..

I updated Aperture to 3.4 and as before sharing my iPhoto library.

When I try and use any plug-ins like dfine or others I get the following error.

Editing Error.

One or more of the selected versions has a original files which is still being imported. Please wait for the file to copy to complete and try again.

I tried this with several different plug-ins and many different pictures.

However If I import a picture into the aperture library then I can use the plug-ins but if I try and do it using the iPhoto library I cannot.

Any ideas??

I'm still new to the understanding of consolidating and referencing.

At the moment though we have got the plugins working by consolidating the image.

As I said i only just purchased Aperture so I'm working my way through the manual.

At some point I'll find out why in the 'Photos' browser I get duplicates (sometimes 3) of my images, but in 'Project' browser you only see the single image.

You'd better start a new thread with that question. That will need a bit more discussion - off topic to this thread, and we like to keep the threads stick to one topic. This way it easier to search for answers in this forum 😉
