Can't download iTunes 10.7 on PowerBook G4; therefore, can't sync iDevice running iOS 6

I own a PowerBook G4, and an iPod Touch (now running iOS 6). I plugged my iPod into my PowerBook, and iTunes told me in order to sync my iPod, I must download the new version of iTunes (iTunes 10.7). I went to the website and downloaded 10.7, but an alert told me that the new version of iTunes cannot be installed on my PowerBook G4. So now, I'm unable to sync my iPod Touch, running iOS 6, to my computer... This is real irritating since I've ordered the new iPod Touch (5th generation) and I'm worried that when it gets delivered, I won't have a computer to sync it on. No music, no movies, no easy set up... Is there anything I can do to bypass the situation? I just want a way to sync my iOS 6 iPod Touch to my computer.
