I'm done arguing with you. It's clear you won't believe what you're told until you bang up against it. So believe what you wish. But if you tell others that the warranty on an iPhone is international, you'll be giving them false information.

There is no need to "test the Warranty service outside the country of purchase"... It's already been tested countless times. Being able to get an iPhone serviced in or out of warranty in a country other than the one where it originated, is the exception. Not the rule.

Move on. The state of the Verizon iPhone 5 is old news. The availability of service outside the country of original sale is old news. I have no idea what point you think you're making posting the same thing to every thread you can find.

Take a failed US-sold iPhone to Apple in another country and ask for service. You'll find out pretty quickly.

And no, in warranty or out of warranty makes no difference. What is different is an iPad as opposed to an iPhone. iPads, except for a few cases such as the Verizon/Sprint models sold only in the US, are the same from country to country. That is not the case with iPhones where the device can differ due to the various carrier locks.

I am not stating the the quote from the warranty is incorrect; I am stating that what is incorrect is your assumption that you will get warranty service for the iPhone outside of the country where it was purchased. That is not correct. Go ahead, do a search of this, and other iPhone forums and edify yourself.

Well, I know that I am going against all the establishment and some are calling me troll and all. I want to make it clear that I do not want to get anyone to get wrong ideas as what they can and cannot expect. I understand that common experience is that iPhones are not serviced under warranty outside the country of purchase (I would edit my original post about the international warranty if I could).

That statement means nothing in regards to your situation. You may have other rights in regards to warranty for products purchased in your country, but your country's laws regarding warranty do not apply to products you purchased in the US.

Please stop now. You do not have warranty for a US-purchased iPhone outside of the US, and all the arguments you throw up will not change that fact.

You might want to quote from the warranty and spin the interpretation until you are blue in the face. But one thing remains true:

Apple will not offer warranty service outside of the country the iPhone was purchased in. Period.
