I really want to know the exact date for its release, but all apples site says is October. October what?

Apple has not announced a specific release date. We're all just fellow users here, so you'll find out at at same time as the rest of us do.

the date changed to 2 weeks in the U.S.

The Best Buy where I live already has the Black 32G models for sale, so I can't imagine that it would be too much longer for a big retail release.

I received mine yesterday!!
