iPhone 5 Bluetooth issues with car

My iPhone 5 is having issues with Bluetooth and my car. It pairs with no problem and I can make calls with no problem. If my phone rings and I try to answer it with the car Bluetooth controls the call picks up then immediately goes back to listening to the radio... But the call is still connected and the phone thinks its still connected to "my car". So I need to quickly pick up the handset and switch the source to phone or the other person will hang up. If it helps the car is a 2010 Infiniti. Any ideas? I already tried re-pairing it. I also tried resetting the network settings.

Thanks in advance

My problems were (mostly) solved by having the dealer install the new software package that's called "SIRI - EYES ONLY" (or something like that) form Honda.

It provides (near) seamless integration into the iPhone IOS for almost everything (can't have Siri read you an incoming email while you're moving but you can have Siri read you a text message...go figure!)

It took a couple of tries for the dealer to install the new software but it is installed and I'm (mostly) happy.

My previous android phone worked great with the bluetooth in my car, but now, I have an iphone and it will not work as it should. It was probably my favorite feature of my new car and very sad that it will not work properly. It will start playing, but as soon as I switch to another song, I get an error message, and it just stops playing. I have to keep pressing the arrow button on my phone under the song and it just keeps stopping. I wish I had my old android phone now.

I drive a 2013 Kia Soul and was enjoying the feature that read my incoming text messages. I just got my first ipone 5s a week ago and noticed that I was not even being notified that a text message was coming in. It appears on my phone but not on the UVO radio. Did research and went to the dealer only to find out that Apple has blocked this feature for the 5S. I am extremely dissappointed. Any help on this one?

Sometimes it will auto connect and sometimes it will not auto connect. When the radio asks if I want to "Try again" I have to turn Bluetooth off on the iPhone and then turn it back on. After it turns back on I tell the radio to connect again and it will.

Music streaming is very choppy and cuts in and out. Sounds like a CD that has been completely scratched up. The only way to temporarily fix this is to turn the iPhone off and re-boot it. After reboot it will stream for about 15 minutes before cutting out and sounding choppy again, unless notifications come through (such as a text or a Facebook message). It seems like it is "struggling" to process the Bluetooth streaming as the phone is trying to do something else. Closing out apps does not make any difference.

Stereo shop tested the radio and confirmed firmware was up to date and tested Bluetooth on radio. I also tested with girlfriend's Android. Works just fine. It's gotta be the iPhone...

Hopefully a fix comes out soon!

I have BlueTooth problems with a 5s software 9.2.. I can use it to call a phone number and it asks if I want to use Bluetooth and i say yes. When I receive a call it goes straight to the built in speaker. I am hearing impaired and use hearing aids connected to a blue tooth device for my sound needs. If this phone will not connect to BlueTooth for calls received I will return the phone and get something works.
