iPhone5 and bluetooth issues

I have the iPhone5 and I am trying to pair it with my macbookpro model 3,1. The computer reports the devices paired but the phone reports that the macbook device is not supported. When I try to browse the phone from the computer then I get system not supported message. I know my macbook is a bit long in the tooth but I am running OS 10.8.2 without issues. Any suggestions?

It does NOT pair with other phones. Try a little research before posting non-sensical drivel.

Also, try posting using actual words and sentences so that it is easier for others to read the message... otherwise, do not waste your time.

I bought the Jabra bluetooth headset with the iPhone 5 online, liked it so much (my very first bluetooth) that I got another one just like it so i could keep one charging. They both just quit on me, no pairing possible, nada. Did all the things mentioned in this 35 page epistle. Nada. I am ****** off. I paid the creatures at AT&T for that thing (hey, I'm still on their original unlimited data plan and we live in the mountains of Colorado, few carriers bring service here)

I can't afford this, and now that i have discovered the headset (I spend a lot of time in meetings on the phone) I was overjoyed with the decision to bite from a 3G to the 5.

Ouch.

I have the same problem, internet sharing throught iphone 5 worked just fine with MBA 2011 and MPA 2012, but it´s not working the way it used to with mye new MBPr 2012. Normaly I would pair the two and choose connect throught OSX BT meny and hit connect. and my iphone 5 would get the standsard blue notice at the top showing the two were connected, and it still work fine with my ipad mini 2012, it just won´t work with my iphone 5
