iOS6 Bluetooth to Renault Arkamys

Hi,

I have a 2010 Renault Scenic III with Arkamys radio.

Since I have my iPhone4, I'm connecting over Bluetooth to get hand free phone, but also to stream music.

I have experienced the regression when switching from iOS4.0 to iOS5.0 about audio streaming play/pause delays, corrected by iOS5.1 (fortunately).

Now, iOS6.0 is there with new regression!

Since I deployed iOS6.0, my car radio is complaining regularly (about each 10mn) that the iPhone is low battery, whatever is the iPhone battery charge (tested at 100%, ~80%, and ~10%).

Please Apple software engineer correct this new regression about Bluetooth stack!

And please do not say that it is related to device (in my case Renault Arkamys radio): this is not the case!

Hi,

Despite what I said about iOS6.0.1 on my iPhone4, and despite also upgrade to iOS 6.1, this issue is still present.

Apple iOS people, and specially Bluetooth stack developpers: what are you doing?

Seems just a cast not correctly defined in your code to fix this!

Please do it on iOS 6.2 !!!!!!!!

Why do you say this?

It's much more likely to be headend manufacturers not getting their protocols right.
